Description
I live in an old farmhouse in the south of France where I grow organic. Surrounded by vineyards and nature with direct access to go for walks into the forest and hills from my property. The area offers so many beautiful spots in the middle of the Green Provence, such as waterfalls, lakes, and hiking opportunities, and I am just an hour from the Mediterranean coast. I would like to greet you here and share my little paradise, share our time with you cooking together and listening to your life experience. I would be able to offer my life experience too as well as my knowledge of organic growing and fermentation, recommending local places to go and experience the culture and beauty of Provence. I am a medical doctor and wrote books together with my husband on alternative views on how to live a healthy life and also on fermentation procedures. I need help in my garden, with the animals and the house. Some knowledge is necessary. I have a vacant apartment for long time use and I can also accommodate one person in a double room. We are 5 minutes away from the village and 15 minutes away from a small town. I have four dogs, chickens, and Koi carp fish to care for.

This area, also called the Green Provence is known for its organic growing, wine, and vegetables, and it is very authentic with beautiful nature. Hiking opportunities, excursions, and cultural offers are everywhere in this part of France. Typical french markets almost every weekday in villages nearby. I am not far from the coast (1Hours drive).
Aide
If you want a longer stay and you are mature and responsible, this is an opportunity. I mainly need help with the garden, important jobs are watering, taking care of chickens, koi carps and pets. Doing some DIY like painting doors inside the house and outside.
For the autumn and winter, I need other types of assistance such as:
DIY and it would mainly be maintenance and repairs inside the house or repairs on the chicken run. Chopping wood. I also have doors to sand and paint. If you are a good cook and like cooking, I would be more than happy to taste the food you prepare and I will provide the good raw materials needed. I prefer to eat a proper homemade dinner every day and cook together if possible.
I have 4 dogs, chickens, and Koi carps. You need to be a dog lover.
I am looking for someone who can stay for a longer period and is willing to live in the house and look after the animals and the property while I am traveling. My trips only last a week.

Languages are essential to communicating and understanding other cultures. I am often meeting up with friends from the area and it gives me the opportunity to improve my french and get to know more about their culture. I live here because I love the area, I am interested in nature, culture, history and it is all here. There are plenty of opportunities to explore.

She is a very kind and smart human being, who welcomed me in the best way and provided everything I needed and more.
The place is beautiful and her dogs are lovely. I really enjoyed having a relaxing time in her guest house and sharing some meals in the evening that she cooked amazingly.
