  Description

  We are a well-known animal rescue organization located on the beautiful island of Langkawi, Malaysia. Dedicated to rescuing , spay and rehabilitating stray and abandoned animals, particularly dogs and cats, the organization provides shelter, medical care, and a loving environment for animals in need. With a focus on promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, this also works to raise awareness about animal rights and the importance of spaying and neutering. Visitors can support the cause by adopting or volunteering, helping to improve the lives of many animals in the region.
  Our is a small organization, we are 1 shelter in our town where we host around 55 dogs and I have about 20 dogs and puppies in my house. A beautiful home in the rice field. We focused on rescue and a program of spay and release, since Langkawi have a lot of issues with stray and unfortunately not so much support from government organizations.
  I name is Roziah . My time and effort is entirely spent on the welfare and feeding of stray dogs on the island. My goal is to reduce the stray dog population through neutering and spaying of the dogs.
  Volunteers will work alongside me on a day to day basis feeding dogs, cleaning the shelter and feeding dogs several places around the island. The will stay on my property sharing a room with my housekeeper.

  Learning about how to organize and take care to animal in a small shelter, knowing about animal welfare and issues that we have in the island regarding stray animals. Have a very different and satisfying experience, give loves to beautiful dogs that need just care and safe place.

  We need someone loves animals happy to help in the shelter and of feeding stray around the island. Plus cooking and help with cleaning at the shelter, and if you have any vet skills then help with animal need vet attention.

  Hébergement

  We offer standalone staff quarters featuring a shared two-person bedroom with an attached bathroom, alongside kitchen and laundry facilities. Because the room is shared with our current female housekeeper, this volunteer position is open to female applicants only. The property offers a serene setting surrounded by rice fields and rubber trees, with a river flowing directly behind the grounds. Volunteers are welcome to cook their own meals on-site, with all food fully funded by the host.
