Description
We are small group of families with homeschooling children in the southernmost rice fields and forests of Hualien. We are in the early stages of establishing a Donguri-club and Waldorf-inspired natural education program in our rural community. Our vision is to create a learning environment where children grow up in close connection with nature, while gaining hands-on skills such as planting vegetables, food preparation, clothing making, shelter building, and exploring various approaches to health and healing.
At this initial stage, we expect to have 3 to 7 children aged 5 to 7 years old. We are looking for someone who is skilled or interested in cooking, art, playing musical instruments and rice farming.
From time to time, there will be visiting Waldorf students and teachers from the West side of Taiwan, as well as kindergarten teachers who come to support and learn from the experience.
We are also happy to offer space to resonating families with kids 5-7 years old that want to spend here some months or even settle in this area.
Please note that our location is quite rural, so a valid driver's license is necessary for transportation.

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Volunteers can experience an eco-friendly way of living—what to wear, what products to use on our bodies, and how to make more sustainable daily choices. We also share knowledge and hands-on experience in a variety of natural and alternative health treatments.
Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about our unique approach to raising children, which combines three philosophies: Donguli Club, Waldorf education, and Forest School principles.
Through hosting volunteers, we hope our children gain a broader perspective of the world—learning about different cultures, values, and ways of life. We want them to grow up appreciating diversity and the richness it brings.
We usually help with transport, and you’re welcome to use our bicycle or motorbike as needed. We cook and share three meals together as a community. Please note that cooking time is not counted as part of the working hours.Projets impliquant des enfants

During the 5 days (Saturday to Wednesday), we will cover both accommodation and food costs. On Thursday and Friday, we will cover the accommodation costs, but please pay for your own meals.
There are two types of rooms available: one with 3 beds and one with 8 beds. Both types include bed linens, air conditioning, and a fan. Each room has its own bathroom facilities. A refrigerator and a hot & cold water dispenser are available in the office building. Clothes washing machine is behind the office. The only item you need to bring is your own towel.
Currently, the accommodation is about a 20-minute motorbike or car ride away from our activity area, since the two nearest temporary bridges were washed away by a recent typhoon. If you have a valid driver’s license for a 125cc motorbike, you may use ours.
We hope to cook meals together, but if you prefer, you can also prepare your own meals at the accommodation.
We are ovo-vegetarian and happy to adjust to your dietary preferences.Autres infos...
