Hello workawayers,
2019 I moved to Switzerland from the south of France where I had lovely experiences with workawayers from different countries.
Next spring I will move back and I am looking for somebody to help me with the preparations
for one or two weeks in january 2023. The work mainly concerns the iron sculptures that we will prepare for transportation.
I live in the same house as my sister and her husband and an other couple.
we are all open-minded , curious people, love the quiet country life, the nature around us.
We want to share with others, learn from each other, live respectfully together. We don't smoke....

I’m discovering the benefits of natural food that I use in my cooking. I can share with you my experience of cooking and preserving, using the wonderful selection of fresh fruit and vegetables available in this region to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In my free time I play the piano and I love all different kinds of music. I speak German and French that you can practice talking with me.
I'm an experienced gardener, I love to hike in the mountains and collect wild herbs, I'm passionated about fermentation of vegetables...

Hébergement
I will rent a room with separate bathroom in the neighbour house, suitable for a couple or single person, to Workaway volunteers who are clean and responsible.
We will share lunch or dinner once a day and the rest of the meals can be prepared by yourself/yourselves in my kitchen.

The house is surroundet by fields, cow pastures, farmhouses, about 4 kms from the small town Schwarzenburg and 15 kms from Bern.
The region is rich in history and culture. There is much to discover and some beautiful walks to be had in the surrounding countryside. In a 20 minutes walk you can reach the river with beautiful bathing spots.
We are near the Gantrisch Nature Park where you can hike, bike, swim, climb, ski... The untouched countryside is ideal for relaxing and discover the beautiful nature.
You can use a bike to explore the area. The train station is about 15 minutes away by bike.
