  Description

  My name is Gary Martin and I live in France in a former converted watermill with exceptional grounds / Gardens.
  The property is manageable for me on my own but at times it would be lovely for Company and an extra pair of hands and someone with more experence than me in understanding plants / trees and shrubs.
  
  I left the UK after running my own Building Company for 35 years for what I hope is a much better quality of life, I am learning new skills and doing my best to mix with the French and learn the language ....I am single and live with my little companion Winnie a Norfolk Terrier we run a B&B Gite Business and this brings us some wonderful visitors.....The house is all complete and I now spend time to improve the gardens.....However on your own and when it is quiet at the house it can drive you up the wall a bit....Easy going kind of bloke No drama....Looking also to learn from workaway people on their skills...cooking...would be a great start for me as I am not a good cook....you wont go hungry but my skills are limmited so I do hope that can be improved on this exchange ...any questions please feel free to ask....Regards

  I am English and learning French so a worker / helper / Traveler that is French or someone that speaks French / English that can help me learn french would be great.....or a foreigner that speaks English but wants to learn French and the culture....accepted too.

  I am looking for help in the private gardens..Mowing the lawn...weeding...tendering flower beds and general gardening works so while the work is not strenuous ....you will need to be able bodied and relatively fit.
  
  I run a B&B and you will NOT be involved in any business activity of the house your help is in the private gardens.
