Description
I have a small property 5 minutes walk from the Lake in a small rural town, Lake Hawea.
I have a large garden and 4 chickens and a cat.
I am a 40 year old who works from home. We love music, singing.
This is an easy going, fun and social household.
I live here with my 4 year old daughter

You will be part of our small family while you are here with us. We like to enjoy dinner with you and involve you in our every day activities as well as giving you time to go and explore out beautiful area. We love to have a few drinks and some music on a Friday night. We are a social, friendly household.

Aide
I am looking for people to help me around my home and garden and also help me with my daughter.
Scarlett is 4 years old and enjoys having people around that can help her with her many arts and craft projects, play outdoors, go to he playground, and generally have fun with her.
I am looking for relaxed, easy going people who like to share a few wines/beers and listen to some music. I am prepared to cook 3 meals a day but you must supply your own snacks. Would not suit people who are too fussy about food (vegetarians are fine, however, I am not one) We cannot cater for vegans sorry. I usually ask for about 4 hours per day of help.
Some of the chores are outdoors so you must have suitable wet weather clothing and footwear.

We loved having Luana to stay. She was an excellent worker and really became part of our family. Our baby loved her and really miss her a lot. I would recommend having Luana stay with you. She is great fun, has great initiative and is a wonderful cleaner. We really valued our time spent with her. We hope Luana can come back and see us soon.

I stayed 2 weeks with Amanda, Tigz, Scarlett and Baxter, the dog.
They are really nice relax people, and Scarlett is a funny little girl.
The help was easy, mostly cleaning, and the meals were very good.
Lake Hawea is a very very beautiful place, with a lot of hike trails.
It was a cool workaway experience :-) .

I had a wonderful 5 days at Amandas. She lives in a beautiful spot with views of Lake Hawea. The work was straightforward and enjoyable, the food was delicious, and she was incredibly accommodating about letting me do my chores later in the day so I could hike during the limited daylight. Definitely a highlight of my time in New Zealand!
