Description
need help on our ecological farm and we like to practice english .Our farm is about 250 years old. Today we have 45 milkcows . There is lot of work in the stable feeding and milking the cows and feeding the calfs.
Allthough there is always a need for helping hands in the garden and nursing the farmplace and of course repair work around the place.
We are since more than 30 years an ecological working farm.
We live in a wonderful area in the bavarian forest, lots of possibilities for walking or hiking tours for our guests.
Next town is Waldkirchen, 5 km away, Passau 30 km away with trainstation.

experience a live on the bavarian countryside work with us at our farm and enjoy the wonderful mountains by walking or hiking ,our swimmingpond nearby... allways a nice place to enjoy nature and peace.

I had a very good time, everybody was very welcoming and friendly, can totally recommend and
will go back visit if I am in the area! :)
The work was not heavy and very flexible. Mainly I helped with the cows in the stable, cooked for the family from time to time and restored/painted furniture for a holiday flat. I learned a lot of new things about keeping animals on an organic farm and creative painting.

When I arrived it looked like any dairy that I have seen in my past. But after a half day I seen it was a real good example of how a medium sized organic should be run. They treat the animals great and even the straw bedding is from a organic source. The farm produces all it's power and hot water from a methane bio-digester… read more
