Help a family care for their horses in the small town of Oettingen in Bayern, Germany

  Description

  Hi I'm Paulina and I'm 29! Together with my family I live in a small town in Bavaria called Oettingen. You might already know it, as the town has a brewery "Oettinger Beer" that exports beer worldwide. We own three Arabian horses that live with us in our garden. Further we have a dog and two cats. Sometimes our neighbors chickens come visit us. I would say it's just as you imagine living in the bavarian countryside, only even better! My parents are away during winter and I live in our house for that time. For work I own a video agency that specializes in advertisement for SMEs. My workspace is just a minute away from home and my team is made of a small group of young people that are all fluent in englisch and german. So we're a pretty nice group to hang with!
  
  My horses are family for me. They can see into the house and are very talkative- anytime they see you, they whinny at you :) One of them was born here at home, the other one we bought as a foal and the third already lives with us for almost 20 years! If you're a horse person- you will definetly love it here!
  
  We are located about an hour away from Nuremberg and 1.5 hours from Munich, both can easily be reached by train or car.

  If you come during winter, you will be able to experience some of the christmas markets around bavaria! There is one in Nördlingen, only 15 minutes away or also the ones in Nuremberg and Munich are really nice! If you come any other time, we have some beautiful medieval cities around and the mountains are also only 2 hours away.
  
  As already mentioned, me and my team are all fluent in german and english, so depending on if you would like to learn the language or just experience bavarian countryside, we can speak either :)
  
  Another cool aspect of your stay with us is, that you get to see how it is owning and living with horses and also owning a business. Not always easy, but it's worth it!

  Aide

  When my parents are in Germany, I also have a homebase in Munich. So my typical week would be three days in Oettingen, the rest in Munich as I can also work remotely from there.
  
  As I already said, my parents are away during winter and I am looking for somebody to help me with the daily work with the horses. Half of the time I would be there and the other half, I would need your help :) So it would be great if you already have some experience with horses.
  It's not a fulltime job, but they need food and care in the morning and in the evening. Depending on the weather, they could also stay outside during the day.

  I am German, but grew up in the US, so I also speak english fluently.

  Hébergement

  You will be living in our house with your own room and bathroom. The house is for a family of 5, so it is big enough to have your privacy :) We of course have wifi and the kitchen and living area is yours to use.
  Most of the time it will only be you and me. Food ingredients will always be provided and as I'm there for half of the week, we will also be having meals together during those days :)

  During your free time I suggest you to visit Munich, Nuremberg, the mountains, Nördlingen (just 15 minutes away).
  I can either drive you to the next trainstation or you can use one of our cars with permission.
  Best if you have a driverslicense, but not a requirement.
