  Description

  Dear Workawayer,
  I am a single mum of four (16,15,13 and 7 years old) living in a beautiful house beside the lake of Neuchâtel. We have a lot of space, the house is just a few steps from the forest. My children and I have a project to transform a part of the garden and need some help for that. No special knowledge in gardening is required but a genuine love of nature and green spaces.
  We are originally from Italy, so you will enjoy our hospitality and good food at our place.
  A single person or a couple is welcome. If a couple is coming, some help to the children for their school and homework would be ideal.
  Neuchatel is a nice Swiss city (French speaking) with a lot of great activities, the university and a vibrant community.
  We would be interested for a period of one or more weeks, maximum 2 months.

  We are a French and Italian speaker family, my children can also speak English and a little bit of German. We like to practice sport activities and mountain walks, spend chill time near the lake and enjoy life. We are open minded and curious to be in contact with other cultures, we know that this kind of experience can enrich us a lot. Neuchâtel is a quite small city but offers plenty of opportunities all over the year, with concerts, festivals, local traditional events like the famous “fete des vendanges”.

  Aide

  Gardening. Garden transformation. Preparing and keeping the vegetable garden. I love gardening as well and will be there to work with you as much as I can, but need some help because the garden is big and I have a trouble with my shoulders. I would like to renew some stairs that are in the garden by improving the existing steps. Some help to the children for school and cooking can be an alternative activity.

  A room in the house, near ours rooms. With shared bathroom at the children’s floor. This is normally the room we have for friends visiting us.
  Food provided in our kitchen. The plan is to eat all together.
