Description
The blue house, home, is found on the westerly slope overlooking the Goose River and tidal Margret Anne estuary, surrounded by pastures of Linden Leas. Quiet most of the time, we are on a blue route and close to the best beaches on the North Atlantic. My children have all moved out, my octagenarian father lives here now. Today I have three spare rooms. Sunrise is beautiful, sunsets as good, quiet and solitude. Our home is smoke and scent-free and we don't eat many carbs...unless they are seasonal and local...like the apples on the trees in the back yard , foraged berries, mushrooms and succulent marsh plants. There is a modern kitchen. You can do laundry but I have multiple sensitivities so cleaning products are provided. Natural beauty abounds, there is access to the marsh and river, the sand flats (2km) of the Estuary. Being so close to shore breezes, and open fields means we have very few biting bugs. Jocks, to foodies to artists in residence...all who are respectful are welcome. There isn't much in the way of must do's in the winter but safety and keeping the entry ways safe is a must.
The work: the blue house was originally bulit in 1862 and is an older home with upkeep and remodeling projects to both the house and property which is also residence for a small duck and poultry flock. Pair your strengths with what you see as needs doing...short and longterm guests welcome. I currently work away from home and my father could do with company and a little help. -

You will be right in the middle of where real food production begins. The blue house overlooks the remnants of Acadian dykes and aboiteaus, and clam flats used by indigenous predecessors.
Dad has a 4 score memory of farming experiences, dairy, beef, sheep and food, effect and affect.
Cows, soil, food...Health, economics, environment...and how they relate to food...are all topics for open, appreciative discussion and conversation. -

Aide
You will be expected to clean up after yourself. If you inform me of your skillsets, I am sure I can find an enjoyable way for you to earn your keep, either assisting with what my kids would have done when they were here, yard work, tending the resident ducks and hens, minor to a bit more complicated repairs, cleaning, painting. There is even opportunity to assist getting ready a community kitchen up the road, and some landscaping. There is opportunity for those with competence and to harvest wild marsh greens and berries.

Autres infos...
There is free parking, it is best if you have transportation as there is no public transport. There's a bike (pedal) to borrow to access more beauty than is around home, convenience store and local Licensed restaurants. Several riding stables near, and did I mention the beach and marsh and strait for boating.

Possibilité d’accueillir les digital nomads
We have reasonably fast internet for rural Canada. If you just need to upload files and zoom chat what we have is likely good. but if you need to do gaming it is not. Slightly Faster packages can be purchased from major carriers if you are willing to purchase them. Tenants have in the past.

Possibilité d'accueillir les animaux
There is an over-ride here, your pet must not frighten my birds and because of my multiple sensitivities you must clean up after them and they not have "hitch-Hikers". As we live in a century home there is a strict house rule of no food in the bedrooms to reduce the attraction to move-in to long-tailed/ four-legged creatures and smaller six and eight legged friends.
