  Hello, I am Isabelle mum of Tiel, nice boy of 11 years old.
  And we would like to welcome a workawayer who would be a joyful big brother or sister (yes, we'd rather welcome someone who is not afraid of doing lots of physical activities and sports ). We are looking for a positive and creative presence of someone who is comfortable in themselves and well balanced.
  
  We live in Paris southern suburbs called Verrières le Buisson, in a house, in a quiet street, just next to a forest (where it is possible to walk or to cycle), and next to a Steiner School (you might be aware of this pedagogy), where Tiel is going. The forest is a nice place, when you want to jog, or to cycle, or just to breath nature, for a break.
  
  We are a very small family of 2, but we love to meet new people, and we have a very nice relationship with our neighbors, and other parents of the school, whom we Know for several years. We often have friends for dinner, or tea time.
  
  Paris and all its museums and its events is reachable by bus and train 45 Mn to Chatelet les Halles (I can lend a bike to reach easily the train station - or your can take a bus to Robinson and then the famous RER B). And Versailles is also reachable by train, same travel time. It is also possible to reach Paris by bike (14 km) on a green road only for bikes.
  
  I will do my best for you to have a fullfilling cultural experience.
  
  We have been welcoming, one workawayer who was a student in Paris (Master Sciences Po Paris, with lessons starting at 10h15)
  
  What you have to know about help and rules :
  
  - I will be working during the day (from home and also away in companies for the day), so during the week I am not available at all , as I need to concentrate on my work, so I am looking for workawayers who are autonomous (people who don't mind spending a few hours a day on their own, with their own project, with their own freedom and...i cannot guarantee nice weather all the time, it means that it is nice to want to go and visit Paris, but it is also important that you have your own projets indoor - working on your french learning, your thesis, your pictures, creative projects, book, etc).
  
  - At the same time, I will include you in our frienship network, and I will try and do my best so that you can also meet our way of life and our activities.
  
  - We will have some regular moments of sharing, and I will do my best to help you feel home, debriefing and adjusting regularly so that all our little village does feel good.
  
  - It could be great if you have a drivers license for MANUAL cars (my car is not automatic), and of course that you are trained for manual cars. (It is so easy to forget when you don't practice).
  
  - I am willing to cook more and more fresh vegetables (raw and cooked) , (we eat meet only from time to time) I will need some help for cooking in the evening, as I am lacking some inspiration. You will have to cook in the evening during week time (and like and want to cook with vegetables)
  
  NO MOBILE PHONE OR COMPUTER IN THE COMMON ROOMS, the kitchen or living room, It is so much nicer when we are all together, and I don't want to expose Tiel to the screens, that is really important for me. LOW TECH IS REQUIRED.
  
  - Tiel is playing the Flute (and we have a good digital piano), so sharing live musician playing together is nice.
  - It is a great experience for us to meet new workawayers.

  Speak French, visit Paris, all its museums, and different events, visit Versailles and its neighborhood, meet other French people, have nice conversations, visit fontainebleau, its nice forest and the house of Rosa Bonheur in Thomery, etc.

  Aide

  I need help to bring Tiel to school in the morning, wake him up (from time to time when I have to go to work very early) and prepare breakfast. I need help to take him back from school in some afternoons in the week (15H45) ,take care of him (specially on mondays afternoon and friday afternoons) or bring him to some activities like ping pong, circus.
  
  I would love YOU to cook diner in the evening with nice and fresh vegetables . You would have some free time during the day (from 9 to 15h30 most of the time and on Thursday from 9 to the evening).
  
  Your responsibility would also to keep the kitchen tidy and clean every day (after eating) and specially in the evening so that we start the day after with fresh ideas (for the rest of the house we have a cleaning lady ;-)

  Hébergement

  It is a room of 12 square meters, with a bed, shelves, a desk, wifi connection, 2 windows, curtains, on a quiet street, with personal access to a shower room with toilets.

  I can welcome a couple, but maybe not a whole family with kids because I have not enough space and no space for vans.

  The wifi connection is good, and you will have some free time during 9h00 and 15h30 every working day, and every evening as from 21h00 (sleeping time for the kid). I need help between 7h30 and 9h and to prepare dinner in the evening between 18h30 and 20h30.
