Description
Summer and fall 2026: looking for help around the house, artists for landart, and extra hands for general activities such as wood-chopping and veg garden work.
We (Annelien-40, Eric-46 and Giorgia-1) are Dutchies who moved to Sardinia in january 2023. We fell in love with the nature, the people, the food, and eventually: with a 8 hectare property that we now call our home. We are in the north of Sardinia, the province of Gallura, where the ocean meets the beautiful oak woods and the granite rocks. Our land is half forest, half fields. On the fields we plan to create a food forest, vinyard and aromatic garden following permaculture practices. Annelien is a scientist (pharmacy/biology), teacher and excellent baker. Eric is a professional carpenter and has always had a business in ecological plastering. In 2022 we have travelled southern Europe and worked at several workaway projects ourselves to learn, get inspired and find our own mission. We have lots of inspiration, energy and talents to share, and are looking forward to welcome and learn from yours!

As we are currently in the starting phase of our project you can learn anything that comes along with that process. Designing our agricultural plan, preparing the soil according to permaculture practices, etc. As Eric is a professional in construction and has build 3 houses so far, you can learn a lot of stuff from him depending on the length of your stay (during short stays we only offer garden/forest work). We both enjoy cooking/baking and we would love to swap recipes and eat as many yummy and culturally diverse cuisines as possible. I’m sure you will pick up some of our Dutch roots and habits, I leave it up to you to tell us about that ;).
Aide
We are looking for help around the house this summer. We have a 1-year old girl and a little sister coming up this fall, so help with cooking, and house care would be amazing. This can be alternated with small tasks on the land. If you apply as a couple one of you guys could help out on the land while the other one is more around the house with Annelien & Giorgia.
We are keen on having artists around, since we would like to make several (natural) decorations on our land. (murals, rock paintings, wooden signs).
As we are a permaculture farm we have several gardening tasks at hand which vary depending on the season. Besides that, we always have a list of small DIY tasks and small projects going on.
We do tasks 5 days a week for 5 hours a day. About 2-3 times a week we will have lunch together, and we will make sure you have all the basics you need for your breakfast/lunch/diner for the entire week.
Alternatively, we ask for 3 hours of help x 5 days a week- when meals are not included. We will find the best fit for all of us and the specific jobs you are interested in. You are welcome to enjoy the peace and quiet of our land and surroundings, but if you are up for fun activities (games/pizza/hikes/beach time) we would love to share those experience as well.

We are very much interested in learning Italian, so in case you are able to help us with our language study that would be great! We currently study ~1 hr a day and would love to get more conversation with native speakers.
Hébergement
At the moment we only welcome travelers with a car. We can offer our cabin when available and otherwise we have tents for camping (matresses, beds, sheets etc included). If you are traveling by campervan: we have the most scenic campervan campsite with views of Corsica, and have facilities such as a toilet and shower available.

Sardinia is a beautiful island full of ancient traditions and people from all over the world. We are located between the coast (15 min), Luogosanto (15 min) and Santa Theresa (20 min), which will give you access to historical sights, bushes as well as the magnificant coastline. If surfing or rock climbing is your thing; you are at the right spot. It would be best if you have your own transport/car, if you want to be independent outside of your working hours. We have an electric bike available that you can use which will easily get you to our village with shops as well as the beach.

We have a private space for you to set up your own campsite with your van. We have a comfortable toilet building and fairytale outdoor shower. We also have a tiny house available with kitchen, lounge and diner table which you can use (shared space) when we don't have paying visitors.

Eric and Annelien are two really nice, welcoming and interesting people. I spent two weeks in their wonderful land, learned new things and had fun! There were also many natural wonders to visit nearby, from mountains to waterfalls to granite beaches.
