Description
Hi, my name is Patrick and from June I'll be sailing on my sailboat from Dunkirk to Cadiz. The idea is to set up a Permavillage somewhere along the coast, in Spain or Portugal.
Since 2017 I've been working on a self-sufficiency project - these are stable communities, 100% local, zero oil (and therefore zero pollution).
I set up an experimental mini project in Belgium, in which I was able to test 26 essential skills for living self-sufficiently.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

I need help to navigate, it allows me to make longer trips, without having to stop every day in a port.
I have a Youtube channel about languages, so I need help making videos in your native language.
I also need help with translations on the 26 skills, also in your mother tongue.
If you are vegan/vegetarian I would appreciate it if you could also teach me about vegan/vegetarian cooking.Langues

Always interesting in teaching French or any other language I know; and learning any language I don't or practising a language I already know.Hébergement
Accommodation is, of course, in the sailboat. There are two berths on the sides and a double berth in the bow, protected by a curtain, so there's a certain amount of privacy.
Mind you, the boat is small, so proximity is rather unavoidable. I'd also like to point out that you can't stand up inside, which isn't a problem for me, as I like being outside or sitting inside.
I usually leave in the morning at around 10am, until 4-5pm when I stop in a port. I sail this way because I'm alone. Being two would enable me to make longer trips.
The food is simple: various nuts, eggs, raw vegetables, pasta. There's no fridge on board. In the evening, fresh produce is available at the port.Autres infos...
When we arrive in a port, there are always great moments of discovery. They're always places we've never seen before, and can be a big city or a small village. If the port is charming (or if the weather is bad), it's possible to stay several days in the same port.
If you're like me, when you sail you'll experience an extraordinary sensation, ranging from simple gratitude to joy and even love for Nature, which offers us this free wind that allows us to move forward without polluting.
Finally, I'd like to point out that the Atlantic is not a large, calm lake, and although sailing is always carried out in total safety, it can sometimes get a bit choppy and slightly uncomfortable. I never sail far from the coast, but avoid if you know you're seasick.Informations complémentaires
