    Description

Hello my name is Patrick and I live in Namur (in Wallonia, 60km from Brussels) with my 13 y.o. daughter. This year, we do home schooling.

My daughter needs English practice every day.

I am the initiator of the Permavillage movement (Permavillage = village + permaculture).

I now have access to a 1000m² plot and there will also be permaculture work.

I wrote a book about how to create a Permavillage and I need some help translating it or parts of it into various languages.

Of course, the priority will be on practicing English with my daughter.

I can teach you French, how to create a permavillage from scratch, permaculture (rainwater, edible plants, zones, etc), how to make a website and youtube videos, php and mysql programming. I have a lot of knowledge about medicinal plants.

My daughter needs English practice every day. She has an English exam in June 2020, and she has to pass it in order to pass in the following year.

I wrote a book about how to create a Permavillage and I need some help translating it or parts of it into various languages.

If you are vegan/vegetarian I would appreciate it if you could also teach me about vegan/vegetarian cooking.

I now have access to a 1000m² plot and there will also be permaculture work.

I will have four projects (besides sowing dozens of plants):

1 Several ponds and rainwater harvesting
2 Composting toilet and composting area
3 Underground greenhouse, according to the work of Mike Oehler
4 Rocket stove, for heating the greenhouse and the house, cooking in winter.

Of course, the priority will be on practicing English with my daughter. Week could be as follows:

Translation work : 2h in the morning
Practise English with my daughter : 3h in the afternoon, at least 3 times a week
Permaculture work with me : 3h in the afternoon

We live in a small house on 4 levels. On level zero: my bedroom and a small fencing training room; on level 1: kitchen, private WC; level 2: my daughter's room and bathroom; level 3: you have your own room.

The specific layout of the house has two consequences: my daughter has expressly asked to host only girls; and we ask you not to return home after 10pm (or else you would wake everyone up on the way up to your room), except of course on Friday and Saturday :-)

You're supposed to be able to make your own food. My daughter and I don't especially eat together. You have a fridge in your room, a table and chair, and an electric kettle.

Breakfast (9h-10h): semi-integral bread, organic butter and jam, coffee/tea. Lunch (12h30-13h30): mixed salad, pasta, or a sandwich, or whatever you want to cook, and water. Dinner (17h-18h): aperitif, mixed salad, vegetable and cereal dish, bread, water, wine. I always have eggs, cheese, milk and flour, I rarely buy meat or fish, but I do sometimes. I try to buy organic food (the Belgian supermarket Bioplanet is 8 minutes walk away), but it's not always possible.

Please note that we cannot accept smokers of any kind, even if you smoke outside, as my daughter has a genetic respiratory disease, and the smallest molecule of smoke is harmful to her.

To make sure you have read my entire profile, can I ask you to indicate "LU" at the beginning of your e-mail? A big thank you!
