    Description

We are a family of 4 living in the Faroe Islands. We are Louise and Rasmus, both Danes having moved from Denmark to the Faroe Islands, and we really enjoy living here. We have two daugthers, Eva who is 2 years old, and Lune, who is now almost 9 months old. I (Louise) have just started working again after my maternaty leave, and we need help looking after Luna until she can start kindergarten around the 1st of June. It will be mostly 4 days a week and around 5 hours a day (20-25 hours a week) during morning and sometimes the evening as I am sometimes working long shifts at the Pharmacy in Tórshavn.

We decided to settle here in the Faroe Islands some years ago, and we wish to show others how amazing the country and culture is and why we thrive here. We live in a village called Leirvík, located on the Islands of Eystur which is in the middle of the Faroe Islands. Therefore, it easy to reach most destinations within an hour by car from our home.

You will join our family during a time where the weather changes and becomes less windy. We have already welcomed our first lamb this year, so spring has definetely arrived. Rasmus has his own farm with 50 cows, 40 sheep and 3 horses. So you will also be able to experience what is is like being a farmer on the Faroe Islands. And you are welcome to join him during the dayly work if you wish. We never lack something to do, at the farm or at home :)

We hope this sounds interesting and you are welcome to ask questions.

    Kind regards
    Louise and Rasmus
