Description
We are family of 5, that loves living in the countryside and being surrounded by nature and our animals. I am German entrepreneur and my husband is a math teacher from Málaga. Our girls are 7, 9 and 11 years old and speak both, Spanish and German.
As a multicultural family, we love meeting people from different countries and learn about their traditions and habits. While our youngest daughter is all about sports and dancing, our middle one loves to cook a good meal and our oldest daughter is a real artist, that reflects her world in her drawings.
We live on a big finca together with a bunch of chickens, several cats, two free-range rabbits, one hamster and our dog Keeva.
She is the newest member of our family, a mix of Border Collie and Bodeguera, she is always up for playing, running or going through her own agilty parcour on our grounds. She is still young, born in February 2025. Her name "Keeva" means the noble precious, which pretty much describes her well, she is energetic and full of love to share.
Our finca is surrounded by mountains and from some parts, you can even see the sea. There is a big salt water pool, that can be used from May to October. The guests house has its own bathroom, kitchen, terrace and hammock, from where you can enjoy these views.
We love the quiteness and the fact, that we are still close to town (only 7 minutes by car to Alhaurín de la Torre) and have a small store 10 minutes walking from our place. There are two restaurants 7-8 minutes walking away and the mountains are close, for those that love mountain biking or hiking in the hills.
It´s only 25 minutes to the beach and to the airport, 20 minutes to Málaga and there are plenty of sightseeing places (including museums, caves, natural beauty spots, waterfalls and monuments) within a radius of 30km around our place.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

As we are gone for Christmas, you would get to enjoy all the festivities and special events organized by the town halls, as well as big New Year´s Eve parties in Málaga and the Costa del Sol region. You will meet plenty of Spaniards there, as they love to celebrate in community and in the streets (why would you go inside, if it is always sunny :). We have gone for a swim in the sea in December, so if you are brave enough, we encourage you to try. It will make you feel brand new :) Don´t underestimate the traditional plates and sweets for this time of the year. They are too delicious to resist them. Málaga and all surrounding towns are beautifully decorated for Christmas, and so is the famous botanic garden "La Concepción". Going for a walk there once is dark is magical. All together, you will not get bored in Málaga for Christmas.

As my family lives in Germany, we always spend two weeks for Christmas with them. While we very much enjoy our time there, we are also concerned about the well-being of our animals, when we are gone. That is why we are looking for someone, or a couple, that shares our love for nature and animals and would look after them in the meantime. We would greatly appreciate, if you could also water our plants. All together, you will need around 30-45 minutes max. every day. The tasks are feeding and giving water to the chickens (the organic eggs are all yours :), the cats, the rabbits and the dog.
It´s especially important to us that you love dogs, as Keeva is very playful and enjoys to be petted. She is our main concern. We go for at least one or two walks with her and dedicate her some play time every day.
My husband has several vegetable gardens, that appreciate some water in between. In exchange, you can keep all the ripe vegetables and fruits you can find :)Langues

I used to live in Latin America for many years and greatly enjoyed the friendly people and their diverse culture. While for obvious reasons my Spanish is being practiced every day, I would love to improve my Portuguese skills. After 6 months in Brasil, I do speak it, but very basically. If you are Brazilian and want to practice German, English or Spanish, I am happy to join you for a language exchange.Hébergement
You will stay in our guest house, which is small, but cute and has all you need. There is a small kitchen, private bathroom with a shower in it, a double bed, dining table and a couch to watch TV.
We have international channels on TV, as well as international radio channels you can listen to on your stay.
You can head and cool down the house using the air con.
There are windows at three of the four sides, so you get to enjoy plenty of natural light and can see the garden and mountains from your bed.
We recommend having breakfast on your private terrace, from where you also see the mountains, as well as the big pool.
If you need to rest, try sleeping your siesta in the shade and in the hammock, that belongs to the guest house.
There is a parking space inside our premises.
If you don´t feel like cooking, you can order a "menú del día" at one of the two restaurants nearby. For 10€ you get more than you can eat. We provide you with bed sheets, towels and the basics for cooking such as oil, vinegar, spices, etc.).Autres infos...
The guest house is a great place to relax and still very close to the cities. No matter if you are more into outdoor activities or culture, you will find both here. We are happy to provide you with any information we can that will be helpful to you, depending on what you would like to do during your stay.
We strongly recommend to rent a car, because even there are buses, their are not passing by frequently. So it is much more comfortable, if you don´t need to depend on them.
It is important for you to know that smoking is not allowed.
The guest house is usually rented and it´s almost impossible to get a nasty smoke smell out of the walls, textiles and furniture. So please understand, that only no-smokers can be considered for this.
We are living in a very small suburb of Alhaurín de la Torre, with most of the neighbours being families or elderly people. So we ask you to be considered and keep the noise level down from 10pm-9am.
Again, this is a great place to relax being close to nature and accompanied by animals, but not for parties.
Parties are not allowed, as we don´t want any trouble with our great neighbours.Informations complémentaires

The wifi connection is slow inside the guest house, but fast on our covered terrace, where you get to enjoy fiber glass speed :) There is a table and chairs on the terrace, so you can comfortably work from there with a great view over our pool, the mountains and the rest of the finca.
Espace pour garer des vans
There is the possibility to come with a camper van. The parking space is big enough and there is electricity to connect with. We also have a outside bath with a shower, that could be used by campers.
