  Description

  Hello Workawayers! We are a family living outside of Prague in a beautiful valley of Berounka river with its forests and meadows around us. Our family consists of us:
  Katka and Tomas and our three wonderful sons: Ernie (8 years old), Oskar (6), and Artur (2). Every day with us is filled with the laughter and energy of young children exploring their world.
  
  Our place is perfect for a volunteer (or a volunteer couple) who would like to taste how the life can be with kids;)(on both beautiful and challenging side).
  
  We are committed to providing a nurturing environment for our children and treat volunteers as if they were a part of our family. As a family, we enjoy exploring new cultures and cuisines, and often incorporate international recipes into our meals.
  
  We moved to Řevnice a year ago and immediately fell in love with the nature and social environment of this little valleyscity's culture, history, and natural beauty. Living next to the forest of Wienerwald, we have developed an appreciation for the outdoors and try to instill the same love for nature in our children.
  
  Through Workaway, we hope to receive help with our daily routines and child engagement, and exchange knowledge and experiences that enrich everyone involved.
  
  Especially Katka spent much time volunteering in different projects in her life and has a great understanding of what does a successful volunteering project require. We keep very much in heart everyone inner gifts and do our best to distribute the shared tasks according to it😉
  We hope to learn about your culture while sharing ours.
  
  And most importantly, we really look forward to creating lasting friendships!

  Staying with us you will learn a lot about children(surprising😉), about gardening and our favorite fusion recipes, cakes, natural wines and physics( if you want to 😉) ...we can also share our passion for traveling, tango dancing and easy portrait photography🥰.

  Aide

  We can offer volunteers engagement in different areas: babysitting and creative play, cooking( we are open to share our favorite recipies and discover yours), household and gardening. We can sit together and find activities that suits you best. We prefer volunteers who can (at least partly) engage themselves with our kids.
  
  We are looking for someone who is energetic, patient and loves children. Our ideal helper would be someone who can engage our boys with sports or movement, creative play and educational activities. If you have skills in music, arts, crafts, or sports, that would be fantastic.
  
  We expect help for around 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, with two days off so you can explore Vienna and surrounding or even further Austria on your own. We will be glad to give you insider tips or help with finding connections.
  
  We appreciate a tidy and proactive attitude. We can accommodate dietary restrictions with prior notice.

  Our home is a well-equipped 107m2 apartment with direct garden access located in a peaceful neighborhood close to the Wienerwald forest. You’ll have your own private room with all the necessary comforts. The forest offers great opportunities for hiking and biking, and with a short public transport ride, you can explore the historical and vibrant city center of Vienna.
  
  We provide you with groceries during your stay. We also love to share family meals with our volunteers whenever they want!

  As a host family, we offer a warm, inclusive environment where you’ll be treated as part of the family. Enjoy home-cooked meals, learn German( or English) if you’re interested, and take part in our family outings. We’re also happy to help you explore Vienna and give you tips on must-visit places. We can borrow you a bike.
