Description
Hei, I am Eva, 33 years old, and five years ago I moved from Germany to Hinnøya, Norway's biggest island, where I have a small hobby farm with some sheep, rabbits and chicken. The farm is beautifully located on a Fjord with a view over to Vesterålen.
There are many ski touring and hiking opportunities nearby, just a couple of minutes by car before you can head out into nature.

During your stay you will not only get to know small-scale farm-life, you will also be able to enjoy Northern Norway's beautiful landscape with many skitouring and hiking opportunities nearby.
Aide
I'm looking for someone who can look after my farm and feed my animals while I am travelling for about a week in the second half of March. I'm looking for someone who would be available for 6-7 days, somewhere in between 17.03. - 27.03. (I am kinda flexible regarding the exact dates).
Your job would basically be to look after the animals (28 sheep, 6 chicken and 3 rabbits) and feeding them both in the morning and evening. The work isn't very complicated, but prior experience with animals would be an advantage. The work takes about 1,5 hrs every day, and you can use the rest of the day weather-dependent for either skitouring, hiking or making a day trip to Vesterålen. If you're into cross-country skiing, there is a very nice ski track in Borkenes (25 km away), and both in Harstad and Sortland there are also small ski ressorts for alpine skiing.
I can either host someone who is travelling with a camper, or I also have a guestroom available in my house.
You can basically use my whole house with bathroom, kitchen and living room with TV during your stay.
I have internet via fiber available, if you want to use your stay for a workation.
Due to my own animals, I unfortunately cannot host someone who is travelling with a pet.
As there is no public transport nearby and with the nearest supermarket being 25 km away, you'll need a car to get here and to explore the area. The next bigger city is Harstad which is ca. 35 km away.
Preferably, I am looking for someone who is 25 years or older. Couples are welcome, too.
