The area is rich in history and culture, close to the enigmatic Rennes-le-Château, and the magnificent Cathar fortresses.
We live in a quiet French village with plenty of country lanes for strolls and picnics...or taking the dog for a run! As individuals we have traveled extensively during our time together, we love to meet new people and share stories and experiences and we are happy to pass on our experiences as well.
We are great believers in giving and helping anyone in need and encouraging others to try new things and think and act for themselves in both a work environment and also in the family home.

Aide
We have a plot of land that really needs some attention and inspiration! we also need help with a spring clean in the house. We have a small holiday home in the center of Limoux, which needs some finishing touches that we would like help with. We hope to find people who are adaptable and willing, but definitely need for them to be motivated.
We are always open to suggestions on the help needed, we work well together and also with others, we appreciate extra help and input, but take nothing or no one for granted.

You will have a large private room with a very comfortable double bed... (and a shared bathroom! :-)

The bustling town of Limoux with restaurants, shops and supermarkets etc is approximately 5km away by local bus or hitch a lift from the village or us. Limoux boasts the longest carnival in Europe (from Jan to March) and is only half an hour from Carcassonne and the impressive medieval City. There is a train and bus service throughout the Aude which costs 1€ each way!
