Description
Our animal sanctuary is located in the beautiful surroundings of Osor, Girona, in the middle of nature.
We are legally founded as a non-profit organization, dedicated to the rescue and care of non-human animals, with the main focus on farm animals. Through our actions we also promote veganism, antispeciesism, interseccional transfeminism and other areas of activism with the goal of erasing any injustices. We have critical views on the capitalist, speciesist and patriarchal system that kills millions of human and non-human lives every single day.

Somos un santuario animal ubicado en el municipio de Osor, Girona, en Catalunya. Nuestra asamblea esta legalmente constituida como una organización sin fines de lucro y dedicada al rescate y cuidado de animales no humanos considerados de granja. También a promover el veganismo, el antiespeciesmo, el transfeminismo interseccional y otros activismos que buscan erradicar las desigualdades sociales e interespecie.
Nos caraterizamos por ser críticas con el sistema capitalista, especista y patriarcal que día a día mata millones de vidas humanas y no humanas.

Are you thinking of escaping the concrete jungle of the city and fleeing to the countryside? Do you need some fresh air and want to reconnect with nature?
Do you want to make your contribution to a greater cause and feel the warmth and love of the animals in return?
Come and spend some time at our sanctuary and enjoy the precious surroundings to disconnect and feel the earth beneath your feet again. You'll get to know all of the animals who live here free from being exploited for their products. Besides the hard labour it takes to maintain the sanctuary, we also value moments of relaxation, connecting and selfcare.

¿Estás pensando en escapar de la ciudad y huir al campo? ¿Necesitas aire fresco y reconectar con la naturaleza?
¿Quieres poner tu granito de arena en una causa mayor y sentir el cariño y el amor de les animales a cambio?
Ven a pasar un tiempo al santuario y disfruta de un entorno precioso para desconectar del asfalto y sentir nuevamente tierra bajo tus pies. Conocerás y tratarás con todes les animales que viven aquí libres de explotación. Aparte del arduo trabajo que se requiere para mantener el santuario, sabemos que también es necesario dedicar tiempo a relajación, conexión y autocuidado.
Aide
The tasks of our volunteers depend on the current needs of the sanctuary and we also consider the skills of every person who comes to help us, but in general we are mainly looking for:
- Construction and maintenance: construction of stables, feeders, fencing, etc. => this is what we currently need the most!!
- Animal feeding and care (putting food and water, cleaning the facilities, ...)
- Cooking (all vegan of course!)
- Cleaning and maintenance of the house
- Pruning and brushing
- Artistic tasks for our webshop/merchandising

Las tareas para voluntaries dependen de las necesidades del momento y también se tiene en cuenta las destrezas o características de cada persona que viene al santuario, pero sobre todo son:
- Construcción y mantenimiento: construcción de establos, comederos, vallado etc. => es lo que más necesitamos actualmente!!
- Alimentación y cuidado de les animales (poner comidas y aguas, limpieza de instalaciones, ...)
- Cocinar (por supuesto todo vegano!)
- Limpieza y mantenimiento de la casa
- Podar y desbrozar
- Tareas artísticas para nuestra tienda solidaria/merchandising

Hébergement
You'll have a room to yourself in the house at the sanctuary. Our rooms are simple, clean and tidy, plus we have common spaces to share. Guest meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be included, all vegan of course.

Dispondrás de una habitación para ti dentro de la casa, sencilla pero limpia y ordenada, y espacios comunes a compartir. Estará incluida la comida de los huespedes (desayuno, comida y cena) todo vegano por supuesto

n your spare time you'll have the opportunity to go hiking in the mountains. There are various routes near the sanctuary, full of beautiful places with natural pools, rivers, waterfalls, streams, swamps, ...
Or you can go and explore the charming little towns nearby or even visit Girona & Barcelona.

Con tu tiempo libre tienes la posibilidad de hacer senderismo por la montaña, en rutas muy cercanas al santuario, espacios de gran belleza donde hay pozas de agua, cascadas, riachuelos, pantanos etc.
O puedes hacer turismo por los pequeños pueblos con encanto de los alrededores y visitar a Girona & Barcelona.
