Description
We are looking for volunteers who want to join us building our natural home and preparing our food forest.
We are located on a 5 Ha piece of land in the middle of nature and near lakes close to Moletai, about 55 km from the capital Vilnius. We are inspired by natural living, permaculture and organic farming. We are building our own natural and sustainable house (clay/straw), growing biological vegetables, creating an orchard with a wide variety of fruits and we will start with preparing and planting our food forest.
We also undertake cooperation with local initiatives with similar goals and provide assistance in natural building.
We aim to be self sufficient in every aspect of living, housing, food and energy production while facilitating a sustainable open source production, research and development platform. By embracing and adapting new as well as old technology and knowledge, our independence on the current global distribution system can be reduced to a minimum. If we can reduce our ecological footprint in such extent, the project is a success.

Our project is located in the lake district of Lithuania, surrounded by beautiful forest ad lakes, ideal for hiking, swimming or just chilling out. Public transport availability is good and we can arrange pick up from the bus station. The town of Moletai offers a wide range of markets, shops, bars and restaurants for entertainment.
