  Description

  I live in a beautiful mountain town on a lake with lots of outdoor recreational opportunities, such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, etc. 10 minute walk to downtown, with a lively night life of arts and culture. We have an electric bike that our helper can use to travel around town and up the lake. I live in a single detached house in a residential neighbourhood, which is very quiet (almost sleepy), very close to transit and five minutes away from a cafe and convenience store. I live with three of my 4 daughters most of the time, but during the period we're looking for help, two of them will be travelling out of the country. We have one dog and two cats, so someone who enjoys the company of furry friends is a must :)

  I love showing people around my community. There is a lot of arts and culture in Nelson and I would be happy to give recommendations for the best events and experiences around the area.

  I am looking for a helper who will help in my vegetable garden and with light landscaping, basic carpentry projects, light painting tasks, and daily dog walking.

  The space you will be staying in is a bedroom in the house, with a queen bed and comfortable chair. I live in the main part of the house, and my daughter lives in a basement suite, so the main level is not too crowded. You will be able to use the common areas, which includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom with a tub and shower.
