Dear travelers 🌿
We are Jenn, Vico and our little daughter Amarú, a 14-month-old explorer who has recently discovered the joy of walking — so life around here has become even more adventurous! ☺️
I’m French, Vico is Portuguese-Italian, and Formentera is the place we chose to call home. I arrived on the island almost ten years ago, after a childhood filled with travelling, changing homes, schools and countries. Somehow, this little island was the place where I finally felt I could put down roots.
Today we live here all year round, surrounded by pine trees and just a few minutes' walk from the sea.
Our life is quite simple and family-oriented. We love nature, the beach, cooking, creating things, spending time outdoors and sharing spontaneous moments with the people around us. With a 14-month-old, our days also have their own rhythm: sometimes organised, sometimes beautifully unpredictable! 😄
We live between two houses about 300 metres apart, and you would have your own independent space very close to us. Although we love sharing and creating a genuine connection with the people who come to stay with us, we also really value everyone's independence and privacy. -

It is a wonderfull opportunity to experience the island’s beauty in the summertime, connect with nature and your own wild essence, enjoy wonderful sea baths, and explore the crystal-clear waters.
We would love to share with you our tips to discover and enjoy the island, to help you with spanish language if you want to learn it, and share beautiful moments together, such as sunsets or local festivals.
If you are curious about respectful parenting and interested in discovering our way of doing things, we will be happy to involve you in our daily life to make the exchange even more enriching.
I have extensive experience in childcare and would love to share my knowledge with you, as well as talk about my journey in this field. Additionally, we can share our experience with pregnancy and motherhood, giving you a closer and more personal perspective on this beautiful process.

Who are we looking for?
Right now, we are specifically looking fot from the beginning of October until around November 10th–15th, 2026.
For this particular period, we need two people in total. You can come together (a couple or to friends) or simply two people travelling separately. There is no need to know each other before arriving.
We ask for a minimum commitment of one month, although ideally we would love to find two people who can stay for the whole period — around 6 weeks.
More than specific professional skills, we appreciate people who are autonomous, caring and proactive — people who notice what needs doing, take care of the space they live in and naturally contribute to everyday life.
Being tidy and clean is important to us, as is treating our home and belongings with care and respect.
The main help we need is with cleaning and taking care of the spaces, as well as some laundry and general help around the house.
When there are extra hours or less cleaning to do, we love discovering what each person can bring! Depending on your interests, skills and ideas, this could be:
🌿 Helping around the house or garden
🛠 Small repairs and improvements
🪵 DIY projects or creating play elements for children
✨ Organising, painting, fixing or making spaces more beautiful
🪄 Or something completely different that you would love to contribute!
We really enjoy when people bring a little bit of themselves into the experience. If you have a skill, an idea or a project you would enjoy sharing with us, tell us about it! -

What do we offer?
In exchange for around 17 hours of help per week, we offer a small independent house for the two people, with:
🏡 Two small private bedrooms
🍳 Your own kitchen
🛋 A cosy mezzanine living area
🌿 A private porch
☀️ A private rooftop sun terrace
🌳 And a shared garden
As well as:
🌲 A peaceful environment surrounded by pine trees
🌊 The beach only about 5 minutes away on foot
☀️ The opportunity to experience everyday life in Formentera beyond the typical holiday experience
🤍 A warm, relaxed and family-like atmosphere, while still having your own space and independence
You will not live inside our family home, so you will always have your own space to retreat to and enjoy your privacy.
Sharing life… while also having our own space
We enjoy sharing a meal from time to time, watching the sunset, cooking together, going to local events or simply having a spontaneous coffee or chat in the garden.
At the same time, family life with a toddler can be unpredictable. Amarú's naps, meals and routines change, and sometimes we simply need to be in our little family bubble.
For this reason, we don't organise fixed shared meals or expect to spend every day together. We prefer these moments to happen naturally.
Meals are not included, and everyone takes care of their own food. Of course, that doesn't mean we won't sometimes end up cooking and eating together. 😊
We are also happy to share our love for Formentera with you — our favourite beaches and special corners, local traditions, markets and events — and to help you practise Spanish if you would like. -

We usually have a good internet connection thanks to fiber optics. You will also have a private space where you can enjoy privacy and work in optimal conditions for focus and concentration.
