 - Description- Hi! I’m Phaëdra, originally from Belgium and Greece. After spending years volunteering and learning about regenerative agriculture, natural building, and community living, I decided to move to my family’s quiet village to start regenerating the land and turning it into an eco-project-farm. (The idea is still taking shape, but it's time to get started!)
This is the first year of the project, and I’d love to have like-minded people join. It’s a chance to share ideas, learn from each other, and figure things out while getting our hands dirty.
The land is next to a forest and only 10 minutes by car from the beach, so there’s some nice nature to enjoy. The village, with shops and tavernas, is just 2 km away—an easy walk or bike ride. Most of the year, my dad, who’s a great cook, will be around too!
This was our first summer hosting workawayers and we have started lots of projects together! We experimented with vegetable gardening, composting and propagating some shrubs and trees. We cleared the abandoned olive field from invasive species and trash, and will be able to access the trees finally for harvesting this winter. We started some building projects, the fence, a mobile chicken coop, the old stone ruin restoration, and the renovation of our woodshed and toolshed.
We're currently looking for people to stay with us between november-december for the olive harvest. We will be collecting our trees as well as helping out our neighbours with theirs. Our own trees need heavy pruning this year, so we will prune, use the woodchipper, cut up firewood and harvest olives at the same time!
Some future projects are restoring the wood oven, laying the irrigation system for tree planting in the field, building the solar panel setup. Hopefully by the beginning of spring we can start planting the windbreaks and agroforest!
If you like hands-on work, sharing ideas, and would like to be a part of a regenerative farm in its early stages, we’d love to have you here!

 - Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre- My father and I speak Greek, English, Dutch, and French, and we’re excited to host people from different cultures to exchange food, traditions, language, and stories. There are fun cultural events to experience, like the panigiri festivals that take place all over in the summertime. Our region is full of history to explore, including the story of our people, the Vlachs, who are native to the borderlands of Greece and Albania.
 - Aide- If you are someone who is flexible, like sharing and learning skills, take initiative and do not easily get bored, then this is the place for you!
We started off reaally laid back with no schedule or program, but slowly slowly we found a system that has worked very nicely for everyone!
So, the idea is to work for 5 days per week, 5 hours per day. We make a weekly schedule for the daily tasks and free days. And in the morning, we have a mini meeting to organise our day and projects and check in how everybody is feeling.
Daily tasks are cooking lunch and dinner, cleaning up the common spaces and watering the garden (summer). We provide the vegan ingredients + yoghurt, eggs and feta. Other milk-meat products are not provided by us, but you can buy them yourselves when we go shopping :)
