Description
Our family members are: Judith (44), Tobias (51), Noah (8), Fridolin (6), and Rosalie (4). We are living in a very rural area in Southern Germany in a small village in the Kocher valley, that means with a river nearby. We have 2 hectars of grassland, where we make hay and also a big garden where we grow vegetables as well as 4 bee hives.
Tobias is a carpenter and he specialized on building tree houses and tiny houses. We also do have an event room, where events like Yoga, Wave Dancing and Contact improvisation take place.
Two cats are also living with us, but are mostly outdoors.
Wir, das sind: Judith (44), Tobias (51), Noah (8), Fridolin (6) und Rosalie (4). Wir wohnen in einem kleinen Weiler im idyllischen Kochertal in einem alten Bauernhaus. Wir bewirtschaften selbst 2 ha Land mit Streuobstwiesen, auf denen wir Heu machen und haben auch einen großen Gemüsegarten sowie 4 Bienenvölker.
Tobias ist Zimmerer und hat sich auf den Bau von Baumhäusern, Erdhäusern und sog. Tiny houses spezialisiert, von denen jeweils auch ein Exemplar bei uns auf dem Gelände stehen und je nach Verfügbarkeit von den Workawayern zum Schlafen genutzt werden können. Außerdem haben wir einen Veranstaltungsraum, im dem Seminare mit Yoga, Wave Tanzen und Contact Improvisation stattfinden. Hier können Workawayer bei Interesse auch gerne teilnehmen.

We love to let participate the volunteer at our family life and so give some insight in our culture. Tobias is practicing Yoga daily and he appreciates if somebody likes to join him. Tobias' parents also live next door and are very open minded people who like to show other persons the most beautiful corners of their home area.
Wir sind gerne bereit, die Workawayer an unserem täglichen Leben teilhaben zu lassen und so Einblicke in unsere Kultur zu gewähren. Tobias praktiziert täglich Yoga und freut sich wenn sich Mitpraktizierende finden.
Tobias' Eltern wohnen direkt nebenan, sind "Hohenloher Urgesteine" und sehr gesellige Menschen, die anderen gerne die Schönheiten ihrer Hohenloher Heimat zeigen.

Aide
With three children and a big garden, we are busy all day round, so we would appreciate to have some support for all aspects of our daily life, especially taking care of the children, helping in the household, beekeeping and gardening. If workawayers like, they could also assist Tobias with his work. In all cases, work will be diverse and we will figure out what your preferences are and match it with what help we need.
Mit drei Kindern und einem großen Stück Land gibt es immer etwas zu tun und wir wünschen uns Unterstützung in allen Bereichen des täglichen Lebens, vor allem mit den Kindern zu spielen, im Garten werken, bei den Bienen sowie im Haushalt und beim Kochen helfen. Wer möchte, kann auch gerne Tobias bei der Arbeit in der Zimmerei helfen.

We do have several places to sleep: Volunteers might stay in a small tree house or mobile house nearby or just in a normal room in our house, depending on availability and the season. Bathroom is in the house and will be shared. Meals will be prepared commonly and and eaten together. We eat a lot of fruits and vegetables from our garden. What we buy is mostly organic and vegetarian.
Platz zum Übernachten haben wir reichlich: entweder luftig im Baumhaus oder mit Dschungelblick im mobilen Wagen, auch im Haus selbst ist im Moment ein Zimmer frei. Bad und Dusche im Haus werden gemeinsam genutzt. Die Mahlzeiten bereiten wir gerne gemeinsam zu und essen auch gemeinsam. Wir ernähren uns viel von Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten, essen überwiegend vegetarisch und in Bioqualität.

Weilersbach is a quiet place, ideal to slow down and have a retreat from hectic life. Volunteers can enjoy discovering the surrounding nature by foot or bicycle or go swimming in the river nearby.
The city of Schwäbisch Hall is located in a distance of 20 km and a bus is going there regularly.
Weilersbach ist ein idealer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und bei sich selbst anzukommen. Per Fahrrad oder zu Fuß kann die umgebende Natur erkundet werden und an heißen Tagen lädt der nahe gelegene Fluss zum abkühlen ein. Nach Schwäbisch Hall sind es 20 km mit regelmäßiger Busverbindung und Bushaltestelle fast direkt vor dem Haus.
