  Description

  Hi, my name's Tari, I live with my Jack Russell x Foxy, Peanut, a short walk to a small off leash beach in a quiet suburb in Geelong. I grew up in Brisbane, and worked in a number of fields in Australia and Laos but am currently a Research Fellow at Deakin University working in public health. I love travelling and meeting people from all walks of life. Having thoroughly enjoyed my time as a workawayer on what I like to call my mature-aged-gap-year, I'm quite excited to now be a host and offer what I can to other travellers.
  
  I'm trying to renovate my 1930s California bungalow. Restoring as many of the original features as I can by upcycling and repurposing as much as possible. However, doing everything solo has been a bit of a challenge... So I'd love any help at all with whatever house project you're keen to pick off my list such of DIY renovations, interior design, gardening, organising... Whichever matches your skills or interests.
  
  My house is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom (2nd bathroom on my DIY list), with a small garden on a quiet street close to Geelong CBD (7km), train (1km) and Spirit of Tasmania ferry (2km). I also have a small pottery studio which you're welcome to use and have a lesson or two if your keen.

  I'velived in Geelong since 2022, am still getting to know the region and keen to explore if you want to ride shotgun. English speaker with a tiny bit of Spanish and Lao. I have a small home pottery studio and often have various creative projects on the go which I'm happy to share including watercolour painting, crotchet and knitting. I occasionally go hiking or kayaking, both of which you're welcome to join.

  Hébergement

  Bedroom with double bed and aircon. Shared bathroom. 1930s house with small garden. All food included but I'd love a hand with cooking as it's not my forte.
  
  I'll provide breakfast and dinner if you can help with meal prep and clean up. Lunch is usually left overs or whatever you can find in the fridge/garden.
