  Description

  I am an artist. My practice is theatre for social justice and I am very involved in my community. I reside in a pretty little village in the Eastern Townships, Quebec, Canada. I have chosen to live here full time 4 years ago because the country is beautiful and quiet. I am a mother of three adult daughters and I have two grandchildren who reside in Montreal.
  
  I live alone and I am moving towards retirement. I own two houses in the village, one I rent out to groups for special projects and the other is my home. The house where I live and the grounds that surround it both require much care. I feel overwhelmed by the tasks. I am also in the midst of reorganizing the house and I must admit, I am very "left brain". A person with good skills to reorganize a house properly would be great ! I welcome some help in exchange for room and board for a person who would like to discover this beautiful region of the province of Quebec.

  Learning the French language, I am a francophone who speaks English. Discovering the nature of the Eastern Township, there are many beautiful walking paths here for hicking. Discovering Montreal (only 100km away) is also possible because I often spend time there for contracts.

  I have an independant room available for the workaway in my house. What I cook for myself I will cook for two. Consequently, it is important that the person is an omnivore with no particular dietary requirements. I am open to considering preferences. I just don't want to find myself cooking two different meals.
