Description
We are a couple with three grown up children who run an ecological farm in the south of Sweden. The farm with all its cottages and beautiful meadows have been kept intact since generations and we put a lot of pride into maintaining the farm in a traditional, genuine and nature-friendly way.
We have several old small typical swedish wooden houses and they continously eed a lot of love. We therefore have a lot of paintwork to be done every spring and summer. We also need help with fencing as we have beef cattle staying outside the year around keeping the meadows open.

We run an ecological farm which has been in the same family for almost 200 years. Both me and Katarina has had a professional life outside the farm but are now enjoying the "real" life on the countryside with all the historical buildings and the traditional life style. We continuesly renovate and maintain the buildings of the farm in an old traditonal way being very particular with what material we use. You will be part of all that and will have a lifetime experince of genuin Swedish country lifestyle on a large ecological farm which has been in the same family for generations.
Aide
You will assist us with fencing, paintwork, maybe some gardering and whatever small jobs that pops up on a farm.

We have several houses on the farm and you will be staying in one of them. If you prefer, you are of course most welcome to stay in the main house were we stay.

Our farm is located in a region called Ydre which is known for it's beautiful nature with a lot of variation in the landscape and a lot of lakes. There are great hiking possibilities and we have very good fishing waters which you can enjoy.

We had great weeks with them and they really helped us with lots of things; fences, paint work, gardening and carpentry. Knowledgeably and humble and you cannot ask for more. We really hope they will come back!
We stayed almost 2 months in this beautiful place, we shared a very pretty house with others workawayers.
The job was pleasant in nature with a great equipment.

Our job was to help repair the various houses on the property. This included painting the exterior facade and windows.
During our stay we stayed in one of the houses, with a great view of the lake; perfect for a little swim. There are also several boats that you could use.… read more
