Description
Hi,
I’m Marco (52), and I live in a country house in the south of Umbria, close to the city of Terni (4 km.) and to the magnificent waterfall of Marmore (3 km.), the highest in Europe.
My home is surrounded by a wonderful garden, where you can relax and look for the sunshine, but the most beautiful thing is that at the end of the garden, runs the clear River Nera where you can go to take fresh and swim in summer.
From my house, you can reach the town by bus, by our bicycle or walking if you like (about 30 min.).
From the train station in maximum 1 hour, you can get to Rome, Perugia, Assisi and others medieval places in Umbria.
But if you decide to remain around the city, along the Valnerina, the river Nera valley, you can practice every kind of outdoor sports and activities ( kajak, rafting, mountainbike, speleology, riding, hydrospeed, trekking, paragliding, ecc.)
In last ten years I’ve restructured this house by myself, and now I live and I run a Bed and breakfast here, along with my cats!

Travellers who will stay here to help me, first of all are like my friends, and they could come with me and my friends to discover and visit all the countries, villages, and wonderful places of the surroundings.
They will enter inside the Italian culture and way of living.
Finally, for the people who will help me in gardening and diy works, they coul learn to do many interesting and useful works because I'm able to build and repair everything and I could teach them many things.
Aide
I need help for general maintenance of the house, work in the garden and the park. Normally is a simple work, sometimes a little bit heavy. We have to cut the grass, clean the garden, clear away dry branches and bushes, collect nuts and other fruits from the garden, collect lavender, shell it and put it in bags for the guests, clean the pool, keep clean around the house.
Obviously, I'm able to do all of it, and I can help and teach to you .

Hébergement
During the high season ( from June to September) normally I have all the rooms of the house rented by tourists, so volunteers can stay in the garden with a tent, use the bathroom in the loundry, and the shower in my apartment or in the swimming pool, and share kitchen, breakfast and food in my apartment.
In the low season (March to June and October to December) I can reserve one room with a private bathroom for the volunteers. They also can use the shared kitchen, the garden and all the facilities of the house, except the swimming-pool that is closed.

He knows exactly what is to do at the B & B. I've cleaned up the rooms and made the laundry. It is an easy work. After the work is free time to relax in the garden, to take a dip in the river or just play with the cats. Marco showed me interesting places around Terni and Umbria.… read more
