  Description

  We are Christoph (38) and Svenja (31), living in Middle Sweden, 20km from Karlstad, on top of its biggest lake Vänern. We are a german couple who emigrated 3 years ago and moved into our own house 1 year ago. We were work-awayers ourselves, and now want to be host ourselves. We have plenty projects to do around the house and garden. You will stay in our Guesthouse (red house), some meters away from the mainhouse (white house). Since we know how important it is to also have a room for yourself where you can go back to, you will have your me-time in the guesthouse.
  
  We have 2 cats belonging to our family - Ebba and Linn, our 1,5y-old british shorthairs. Christoph is working in Karlstad, Svenja is currently staying at home.
  
  You're welcome to come as a couple (preferred) or as a single person. Since our cats should feel save but are sometimes shy, we do not accept work-awayers traveling with dogs.
  We are a non-smoking household and only host the same.

  We are speaking english, german and swedish. We cook all different kind of food from all over the world, but always gluten- and lactose free.
  You will love it in our place if you love swedens nature, want to explore it in the weekends and afternoons/evenings and if you love cats :)
  We love board- and cardgames, do yoga and meditation, but have found out for ourselves, that we do not fit so much in the spiritual-bubble. Therefore, we only do it for our own balance. Feel free to join if you want to!

  Gardening, small renovating (painting, wallpaper, laying laminat, all kind of finishing inside. Maybe outside: house-facade and terrace), finishing up the stuga and make it cosier.

  Hébergement

  You will stay in our guesthouse (red house) that we are finishing right now. Therefore you always have a room to get me-time if desired, but are also welcome for time together with us in the main-house.
  The guesthouse does not have an own bathroom, so we share our bathroom in the mainhouse, 20m away from the guesthouse.
  
  If you come with a campervan, we have a lot of space for that as well. Close and far from the mainhouse.
  
  The nearest lake is 500m from our property and usually noone is there. For swedish terms its small (actually its quite huge), perfect for swims. Christoph is also going there for swims already.
