  As a family living on a remote and beautiful island like Pantelleria, we truly value connection—both with nature and with people. We love sharing meals, local stories, and the relaxed rhythm of island life.
  
  You’ll also have plenty of time to explore the island on your own, and we’ll gladly share tips about the best places for swimming, hiking, or enjoying a sunset with locals.
  
  We’re passionate about sustainable living, hospitality, and island culture, and we’re happy to share what we’ve learned through building and running our small guest-hosting business. You'll get hands-on experience in:
  
  Hosting Workawayers from around the world is a beautiful opportunity for our family to grow. We love learning about different cultures, ways of thinking, and everyday life in other parts of the world. These exchanges help us teach our child the value of openness and curiosity and remind us that community can be created across cultures and languages.
  
  We look forward to hearing your stories, trying your favorite recipes, and sharing memorable moments together!

  Aide

  We're looking for 1 or 2 Workawayers (a couple or two friends) to join us this July and August to help with our project and enjoy the magic of Pantelleria.
  
  We particularly are interested in workawayers who can come between 30th June /2July and stay until the end of July , as we will be away. While
  We are away for 3 weeks you will stay at our place. After we back you will be accommodated in your private apartment 20min away with scooter.
  
  
  What You’ll Be Doing:
  -Preparing and cleaning the guest houses between stays
  -Welcoming and meeting guests, ensuring they feel at home and have everything they need
  -While we're away for around 3 weeks, we’ll ask you to, only while we are away:
  Look after our home (water supply , usually stuff to keep it safe and in order); Care for our sweet dog Bea (daily feeding and nice walks); Feed our 7 chickens and collect fresh eggs (eggs would be for you)
  
  What We Offer:
  - Private accommodation (no shared spaces)
  -Scooter for your use, please have a driving licence as you might be needed to drive from your accommodation to our house (around 20min )
  -additionally monthly basic salary of €300 while we are away ( whether you come solo or as a pair)
  -Additional pay of €8/hour for house cleaning duties

  Yes, we’re definitely interested in language exchange! We speak multiple languages in our home and would love the opportunity to improve and practice more—especially English and Italian. We're also very open to learning new words and phrases from your native language, and we’re happy to help you improve your Italian (or even a few local dialect expressions!) if you're interested.

  Hébergement

  For August You'll stay in a private, fully equipped guest house separate from our family home. This cozy space includes:
  
  - Your own bedroom with a comfortable bed for 2
  - A private bathroom
  -A kitchen where you can cook your own meals
  -No shared spaces – the house is completely yours during your stay
  
  For july you will stay at our place :
  - living room sofa-bed for 2
  - kitchen
  - private bathroom
  
  We want you to feel at home and have your own privacy and independence while enjoying island life. The house is simple but clean, comfortable.
