  Description

  These days I live alone in the main house. During summer my 2 sons usually also stay here in the main house. There are Right now I have no animals due to the drought last season. I will probably get new sheep the coming season. The main target during 2019 will however be to arrange a silent retreat cabin by our beautiful lake.
  
  As a former scientist of ecology, I have deep knowledge about nature and ecology. The forest surrounding the farm means there are opportunities to do fishing, hunting small game and even moose in fall time.

  I am a norwegian biologist that have worked with arctic mammals for a lifetime. I am also a documentary filmmaker and a very dedicated environmentalist. I hope that my experience with farming, carpentry and general manual practice even benefit you. May be more that anything, I am on a spiritual path that I want to share with others. Welcome!

  Aide

  This summer season we need help to see after the sheep and cut gras under the electrical fencees. Other than that we need help to water, take away weed in the vegetable garden. General household, painting outside and splitting wood for burning may also be possible work.

  Two separat rooms in the main house for helpers. Common rooms: 2 living rooms, 1 kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Cabin by lake in the forest.

  We are small in scale but very charming farm in the dynamic village named Löa of Bergslagen. Other local farms in the village also do organic farming. There are good opportunities to be social with local people and each other.
  
  There are 3 separate rooms for volunteers in the main house and a cabin next to a beautiful lake in the forest. We normally expect everybody at the farm to participate in cooking and daily cleaning. However, if we are lucky to find a volunteer who really likes cooking, thats great! Preferably we eat together.
  We will mostly eat sustainably produced food, but normally not exclusively vegetarian food. We produce our own meat from sheep and exchange products with neighbors.
  
  The area have beautiful surroundings. Deep forest for hiking, picking berries and mushrooms, and many lakes for swimming, kayaking and fishing. In wintertime the area is good for cross county skiing and skating. The village have an typical old fashion Swedish atmosphere and an very social life style.
  
  We have very fast internet. There are no pets in the main house. We are no smokers and do not abuse alcohol.
