  Description

  Hi there, 

  
  I’m Laure, I’m 32 years old and I live in a small village of the Saumurois region.
  I grew up between Romania and France and travelled a lot.
  
  I’m passionate about nature, art & creative projects. After moving abroad and doing myself some workaway and trying different kind of jobs (horse aupair, photographer, growing vegetables, mushrooms..) I’ve decided to have my own place and develop a project around cut flowers, edible and aromatic plants which I grow with love and curiosity.
  
  The project with this place is also to build a more sustainable life, welcome other projects (currently ceramics) and people. I want to create a cosy and friendly space, where people would feel good and safe.
  
  I've been here for a bit more than a year now, somehow I'm still discovering it ! I share the place with my very friendly dog, Roméo and my two super sweet cats, Babe & Nao. But you can be sure that friends will drop by often, to spend a weekend at the countryside or just to have a drink in the garden at the end of the day and enjoy the sweet weather.
  
  There is always something to do here; Maintaining the garden and the vegetable patch, small DIY working on the house, bringing new ideas to improve the comfort of living here.. 
I used to travel a lot & I'd be very happy to keep travelling by meeting new people from different areas :)

  By coming here you'll learn more about gardening and working with edible and aromatic plants, simple, sustainable living in the countryside, life with friendly pets and nature all around. I can also teach you some stuff about flowers and flower arrangement ;)
  
  It will bring you the possibility to explore the Saumurois region, from Loire walks to local markets, vineyards, castles, and charming villages ( I fell in love with this area the first year, it's been 6 years now).
  
  Connect with local people (i have very coooool and nice friends), and french way of living !

  Aide

  I’m looking for people who enjoy nature, animals, simple living, and who want to share a bit of everyday life here.
  As i am alone most of the time, I'd be very happy to have enthusiastic and motivated people to spend some time here and help me with:
  
  - Garden tasks and tending the vegetable patch
  - Planting and caring for flowers and herbs
  - Small maintenance or DIY projects around the house
  - Helping with general organization and keeping the space pleasant
  
  If you have any specific skills, i'll be happy to include bigger project :)
  
  I'm also asking people to participate in the everyday life to keep the environnement enjoyable, such as keeping the space clean and tidy, leaving your room as you found it.

  Hébergement

  The house is a very simple space, an old typical house from the area.
  
  Downstairs you have access to the kitchen, living room and bathroom. The space is almost fully renovated.
  Upstairs are the rooms where you'll have your own room with a double bed. It can be a bit cold during winter, as it's an old countryside house and it hasn't been renovated yet !
  
  Meals can be shared. I love cooking simple, seasonal dishes, and sharing good food and conversations (I am flexitarian, but don't cook meat at home, I adapt very well with vegetarians / vegan) 🌿
  Also, I'd be very happy to discover your local dishes :)

  Autres infos...

  The house is located 20min away driving from the bigger city (Saumur). It's a bit of an isolated place, the house is in a village but there are no shops around. If you don't have your own car, there are some bus. Also we can arrange when I go there ! I also have a bike available (but it's a steep hill area)
  
  Please note that even though I'm social, I sometimes need a bit of alone time by myself to reload my batteries :)

  The place has a good wifi but not a perfect phone connexion.

  There is some space to park in the garden. Although you need to enter a gate, it's not huge but big vans can acces it without problems :)

  I'm open for other pets, although they need to be ok with my dog and cats, respect the garden, and listen to you !

  Nao (5 ans)

  Nao is the sweetest cat you'll ever meet. She'll jump on your lap at any occasion to have some cuddles. She loves to hunt outside, and be there to welcome you home :) She's also the smartest of all the animals around here :3

  

  Babe (5 ans)

  Babe is a deaf cat, she is in her own little bubble. She is lovely, a bit independent but loves cuddle and to come chill on your bed (actually, it's her room). She is a good flatmate for the other animals, but mostly she prefer to be alone or with humans !
  And if she can't hear you, she definitely knows how to talk - she's a sweat heart :)

  

  Roméo (3 ans)

  Romeo is an Australian Shepherd - probably mixed with a big dog :) A little crazy, with a big heart ! He loves people (and to jump on them), to go on long walks in the forest and to assist when we work outside !
