Creating Hecate's garden while exploring Troodos mountains in Kakopetria, Cyprus

  Description

  My name is Irene and I am an architect and artist living on the mountains of Troodos, Cyprus.
  I own a 2500 square meters piece of off road, off grid forest land and I live on it, in a geodesic dome with 2 dogs and 8 cats!
  It is truly an amazing place, with 360 views to the sea and to the top of the highest mountain in Cyprus.
  
  I am envisioning creating a botanical garden here with local species in honor of the goddess Hecate who has helped me through a health challenge. I am also envisioning creating a set of earth domes - temples so I can work with the elements, water, fire, earth in medicinal ways. Sound, elements, plants, textures, colors will be worked together to activate the land's energies. My goal is to eventually create a tiny community here anchored around herbalism and healing.
  
  The main tasks of our life here for which I will be sharing my experience will be:

  We will be going for wild foraging hikes in the mountains of Troodos, swimming, and community activities such as drumming, jamming, dancing, and sacred fire gatherings that happen often on the island. I will be sharing my knowledge on herbalism, architecture and general life magickal skills. I, in return hope to learn more about permaculture, gardening and hands on natural building!

  Aide

  I am looking for enthusiastic travelers, ideally with some experience in permaculture, gardening and natural building, that can help me create a botanical garden and a series of small domes made of cob, stone and potentially cordwood. The designs are under development and exploration at the moment. We will investigate ways to ground and transfer energy through form, harmonize and structure water, and ways to utilize the wind to produce sound. It will be creative, fun but also slightly physically demanding!

  Hébergement

  You will have the option of sleeping on the ground floor of the geodesic dome, with mattress provided, or in a teepee/belltent!
  If you decide to stay longer, we can build a cob room together for you.
  Regarding food, I am carnivore, so I mainly eat meat! I will provide the ingredients for making your own meals such as local veggies, grains and fruit and some meat/dairy if that's what you like. I can also cook for you if you prefer!

  Autres infos...

  Kakopetria village is very near by (walking distance, but I can drive you also by car). It's a cool village with some cafes and shops. From there you can take the bus to the cities. I can also drive you to Nicosia or Limassol as I go twice a week.
  Smoking and drinking alcohol normally are not allowed in the project, and also phones are not allowed in the main temples area. Keeping that area clean of EMF as much as possible as we will be doing healing with water in the future. If however, smoking is important for you, we can create a smoking spot.

  There's a large flat land area in the project for a potential motorhome. I do not have a compost toilet there yet but we will build one together!
