Help with gardening in Montespertoli, FI, Italy

  Description

  Hi everyone :)
  I'm Silvia, a 65 years old Swiss woman. I have been living in Tuscany for the past 40 years.
  Since my daughters grew up and left for their own paths, I live alone in a traditional Italian farmhouse in the Chianti area, the countryside between Florence and Sienna.
  I can offer meals and accommodation in a private room with a very nice view. Bathroom and kitchen to share with me.
  I enjoy to share meals, but feel free to eat on your own at your own rhythm if you prefer.
  
  My house includes a garden with swimming pool and a big field with 45 olive trees. There is also a small vegetables and aromatic plants garden.
  
  I mostly need help for the heavy works, meaning the tasks that require physical effort, for example :
  - to gather the cut Olive trees branches and bushes
  - to cut and pile up the firewood for the wintertime
  - to move or to re-pot big heavy plants
  - general house keeping chores
  
  My house is 7km away from the nearest village, Montespertoli, which is connected to Florence by bus.
  Coming with your own car/motorcycle would be the easiest option, but I can also give you lifts by car, so you will be able to travel around ;) I can also lent you a bicycle!
  
  As a I am myself a foreigner, I love different languages, cultures and traditions. I like to be creative in all sorts of arts en crafts, like sewing, knitting, weaving. I also enjoy hiking in the mountains and playing my trumpet.

  As a foreigner, I really like to learn about different cultures, languages and traditions. I also love to show you the surrounding area and teaching you about Italian and Swiss culture and food (I have a pizza oven that can be used both for bread and pizza). I love nature and walking in the mountains. I also plays trumpet in a cultural association and I am generally very socially active in the community.

  Aide

  What I usually need help for is taking care of the house and the garden, for example cutting and gathering trees and bushes branches, to pile up the firewood for the winter, general house keeping chores, removing weeds and other gardening activities.

  Hébergement

  I can offer meals and accommodation in my house : a private room with a view and shared bathroom and kitchen. I appreciate eating together and chatting at the dining table but it's up to each Workawayers if they want to take part in it or not.

  Please note that from my house to the next village (Montespertoli) there are 7.5 kms and there are no bus/trains to get there, so I recommend to come here with your own car to be more independent. Otherwise, I can also give you lifts to Montespertoli (where you can catch a bus to Florence or other destinations), so don't worry, you'll still be able to travel around a bit ;) Bringing your own car would make it easier but there are other options! I could also lent you a bike.
