We are a family of four with a 40 acre certified organic farm. Our lead farmer has many years experience with market farming and with creating new farmer training programs and sustainable food systems courses for international students.

We are LGBT friendly family with children in French immersion, and basic conversational language skills in several languages. Our professional and academic work includes North American food and farming systems (soils and agroecology) as well as First Nations governance and territorial authority (indigenous laws and governance). Travelers will share meals with us that are harvested from our farm and prepared in regional West Coast style. Learning on the farm will include identification of a wide variety of cultivated specialty vegetables, and general small farm and market garden skills.

We are a family of four with a 40-acre farm. We raise mixed vegetables, pasture-raised pork, and other small livestock. We are looking for help with harvesting and maintaining for the vegetables as well as caring for the livestock. Depending on the skills you have, we have many other building and maintenance projects on the farm--fencing, building livestock and crop protection and housing structures, landscaping, light building repairs.

We have renovated two rooms in our falcon barn that are rustic and comfortable. The rooms are private and provide spacious accommodation for couples or singles. Access to outdoor shower, bath and off-the-grid kitchen and dining area will be provided.
We are located near a popular swimming river, many hiking and biking trails, wineries and microbrew pubs, and within a few hours of surf spots and whale watching on the Pacific ocean. Our provincial capitol is accessible by bus, and the local bus stop a five minute walk from the farm.
