Shellie is a delight. Very hardworking, attentive to details and eager to complete each task to a very high standard. She is an excellent worker and will tackle any job, always with a good attitude. She is very humble despite having a broad skillset, from help with social media to animal care to deep cleaning, and yet she is always open to

A Dream Job in Nature's Paradise! Working at this remote fishing lodge has been one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences of my life. The location and wildlife are amazing, surrounded by pristine waters, forests, mountains, and numerous animals. Waking up here everyday and stepping outside of a floating house to an incredible view never

The whole team are so welcoming and make you feel like part of a family. Hannah and Chris are truly amazing and hard working people who are passionate about what they do and made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. Hannah is someone that I consider a good friend, I miss all the laughter that we shared during my time at the lodge. I was lucky enough to meet their children Robin and Stephen who were both a pleasure to be around with their captivating stories, and their beautiful dog Isla is just another added bonus to an already wonderful place! The work itself is diverse and never boring, whether you're helping to prepare a delicious meal with fresh ingredients, serving and socialising with great guests, or watering the plants and carrying out basic cleaning duties, there is always something meaningful to do! If you are into remote living surrounded by nature, enjoying unbelievable food with incredibly kind and funny people, in exchange for some fair work, then I couldn't recommend this place more highly!
I am extremely grateful for my experience with the lodge and all of the people (+ animals) that I met! Thank you for everything and I hope to see you all soon :) xxx

A floating paradise full of wonderful people! My experience at the lodge was incredibly beautiful at all times, from the first second I arrived they made me feel part of the family and treated me with all the warmth, respect, and beautiful energy that represents them. Hanna, in addition to being an excellent cook and being in charge of all the details, is also an extraordinary person, sensitive, fun, cultured, and very dedicated to her work, who always treats me wonderfully, concerned that I feel comfortable and happy to be there. Chris, her husband and the one who built the lodge with his own hands with great effort for many years, is in charge of taking the guests on the excursions and in the moments that I had the pleasure of spending time with him it was always with the best treatment, listening to their great anecdotes, and with a constant big smile. There is also Robin, the little boss, who at only 18 years old worked hard every day while studying, always worried about all the details, doing all her tasks excellently, demonstrating great intelligence and responsibility. The rest of the team is made up of All and Geoff for the excursions, and Carl and Rachael in maintenance, with whom it was a pleasure to share tasks and always treated me excellent. Last, and not least, is the soul of the place: Isla, or Aila as they call her, for me she was the Gordita, a black Labrador dog who is always happy, welcoming the guests and each one of us with the greatest enthusiasm and affection, I fell madly in love with her. The place is a beautiful floating paradise far from civilization, where in addition to wonderful people you will also find a lot of peace and the possibility of activities such as kayaking, swimming, listening to music or making it (there is a beautiful piano in the room), enjoying the sauna and things like that, but if what you are looking for is to party or go out after hours to meet more people then it is not the right place since it is difficult to access. I stay in a lovely private cabin and eat everyday like a king the amazing food that Hanna cooks for the guests and for everybody on the team. I leave very happy and grateful to had the privilege, honor, and great pleasure of living this experience and meeting such quality of human beings who are a great example of life. I hope to return soon, and a thousand times more, I would even travel to Canada just for that. Thank you very much, especially to Hanna, for all this and much more. I wish you nothing but the best and I send you a big hug!Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Juan)
We loved having Juan stay with us! He is a kind-hearted, trustworthy and social person with a great sense of humour. He works well with people of all ages, personalities and backgrounds. He arrived during a very chaotic and busy time of our season but was not fazed, and right away he began helping us with the tasks at hand, carefully considering

He takes a great deal of pride in his work, is attentive to the details, is well mannered and professional and will tackle any task willingly and with competence as he has a very versatile skill set! He has the sensitivity needed to work as part of a team but also the confidence and initiative to work alone or in a leading role. He doesn’t need much instruction as he is highly experienced and full of creative ideas, yet is humble enough to take directions whenever needed. Also, if you’re lucky enough to hear him sing you will be blown away. Basically, a rare and delightful character! Juan, thank you! You’re always welcome back.Feedback
