hej, we're a family with 2 kids, originally from switzerland, came to sweden for a sabbatical more than 10 years ago and got stuck, living on the countryside in our little paradise we created over the past years at the dead end of a gravel road, trying to keep live slow and simple, hosting many visitors to fulfill our social needs...

we eat everything and like to invest time in proper and healthy food preparation but try hard to avoid dogmas, although gunnar developed a fetish during the last years trying to maximize the part of what he grew himself. both vegetarians and karnivors very welcome. vegans just as welcome, but they might have to help with the cooking...

update summer 2024:
we only have space for workawayers 30.6.-14.7.
gabi will be working abroad, so just gunnar and the kids in the house.
help to do:
- muck out the sheephouse
- moving the dry firewood into the shed
- fighting weeds in the pasture
- if you have the skills & passion i could even use some help with creating our homepage

awesome wild forest just behind the house (with lots of blueberries and mushrooms), about 5km to the sea (we have bicycles), various lakes in the surrounding (we have a sup and a boat), table tennis, access to sauna and hot tub nearby. bad public transport, just about 2 busses in and out per day. 15km to the next trainstation, we can pick you up by car.
in general we prefer rather short visits up to max 2 weeks.

The house is beautiful and the garden and nature around is amazing.
