Hej Workawayers! 😊
Do you dream of living in a historic Swedish manor, surrounded by nature and rich cultural heritage? We’re a friendly family with three children (15, 12, and 6), living in central Skåne, just 40 minutes from Malmö. We welcome extra hands for our private garden, general housework in our home, DIY projects, and animal care in exchange for food, accommodation, and a cultural exchange.
If you enjoy hands-on work, nature, and history, this is the perfect place for you! Come stay with us and be part of a unique adventure in Sweden.

Do you dream of living on a beautiful estate, surrounded by nature and history? Are you eager to learn some new skills? Then our family is the perfect place for you!
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with a variety of projects in our private home, both indoors and outdoors. Tasks may include:
🔨 DIY projects – Minor projects like, painting and building garden beds
🌱 Gardening – Planting, maintenance, and expanding our kitchen garden to improve self-sufficiency for our family
😺Animal & Child Care – Helping with our bunnies🐰, horses 🐴and cat🐱, as well as occasional childcare
🚂 Model Railroads – If you love model trains (H0 scale), you’ll enjoy our large setup.
🏠 House chores - assist in cleaning, setting table, organizing in our private home
Upcoming Projects – Spring 2025:
✅ Turning branches into woodchips in the private garden
✅ Indoor & outdoor DIY projects
✅ Gardening and growing vegetables for family use
✅ General household tasks in our home
We work about 5 hours per day, starting flexibly after breakfast (around 8–9 AM). We take turns cooking and expect you to help keep the kitchen and bathroom clean. We usually eat dinner together and may ask you to assist in preparing it. Our household includes dairy, meat, gluten, and sugar, but no nuts or almonds due to severe allergies.
🛏️ In exchange for your help, we offer food and accommodation. We also love sharing our culture, traditions, and language and would be happy to learn about yours!

I would love to improve my beginners skills in spanish but also other languages of interest.

We have purchased a lovely camping caravan for the workawayers to be able to have their own private space. However off season we also have guestrooms in the house.

You can enjoy our beautiful surroundings (we have spare bicycles) take a walk in the forests, swim or SUP in the nearby lake Vombsjön. Play pingis or basket with the children.
We also have a passion for building model railroads in H0 scale.
This is an ideal opportunity for a person who is looking for a peaceful stay and enjoy nature and historical buildings. Our place is located away from large cities we have a bus-stop 10 min away with bike. Connection and road is good. The nearest grocery store is in Sjöbo - 9 km.
