  Description

  We are a family owned guesthouse, located in the middle of wilderness. Drawing from the old legends, traditions and ancient customs, we try to send out the same positive, rich vibe to our guests and fellow staff members. And this is why we are looking for other enthusiasts to help us around the village, to share our wonderful adventure with our guests. Here, everybody who takes care of the place is involved in the same daily activities. We value teamwork and we would love to make new friends.
  We are looking for responsible and dynamic people to bring on our young team in the mountains. Aside for the authentic living experience, the delicious cuisine and the outstanding natural reserve around us, you will have access to all the benefits this place has to offer. You can live in a heaven-like remote village!

  Besides the activities the volunteers can do here (hiking trips, visit historical locations, caving and other mountain sports, bird watching or just enjoying nature and its wildlife), they can also visit the biggest city in Transylvania: Cluj-Napoca (it's situated 1 hour away, driving distance, with buses that connect daily with our remote location). Thus, travelers can get a feel of the urban lifestyle as well, which in Cluj-Napoca, due to its young population, culture and geographical position, is very cosmopolitan, active, innovative and full of inspiration for all tourists. There are festivals, workshops, cultural events organised on a regular basis, offering many opportunities for travelers to enjoy and express themselves.

  Aide

  We are a young team from Cluj Napoca running a small closed circuit village in the Transylvanian mountains nearby, in a natural reservation. We are looking for young people who are between 20-35 years old, love and respect nature, willing to help us with general tasks (greeting customers and introducing them to the natural feel of the place - discussing about the materials and foods used, their history and origin, helping in the garden or with various outdoor projects, guided mountain tours etc).
  We need people from May to October.
  
  Activities:
  Among other, here are the main tasks that we will do together
  We will maintain contact with kitchen staff. We will be responsible with the guests socializing and on site activities or hikes. We will also be resolving hospitality/ services tasks.
  We will receive the guests when they arrive and make sure they settle in with no problems. Informing them on the activities at the Nest, or trips and hikes in the area, is a must. Throughout the day we will be talking to the guests or show them around the Nest. You can also suggest fun activities for them and engage in games with the groups.

  This is a wonderful opportunity for all travelers, first of all due to the location of our village: it is situated in the heart of the natural reservation of the Apuseni Mountains: it's the perfect setup to meet the local environment, flora and fauna, which are undeniably the most appealing things here. With our help, they will learn about old Romanian traditions and how they blend with the new, in a natural and undisturbed way. Needles to say, there are many attractions nearby (caves, waterfalls, gorges, ravines, castles, fortresses, historical churches) that the travelers can get to know just by taking a walk with our guests. They will also learn about the importance of respecting nature and living off of what it provides; in the wild, it is a force to be reckoned with, if not treated accordingly. The food is all prepared locally and served fresh, so the travelers will enjoy organic meals and beverages daily. They will learn, with this occasion, how to eat healthy, but also how to reduce waste, reuse and recycle, and most of all, how to respect their surroundings.
