  Description

  We are a bio-construction project in rural areas where we share knowledge and develop training and workshops to create sustainable and more harmonious spaces with the community and nature that surrounds us.
  
  We have been working for 3 years in the beautiful Popayán, capital city of the department of Cauca, Colombia.
  
  We understand bio-construction as something communal and as a meeting point for different people in common projects. Therefore, we have been developing with friends pedagogical processes or workshops so that the knowledge of these practices of natural construction and permaculture expand and share with more beings making community.
  
  We are currently carrying out bio-construction activities with volunteer-apprentices to finish a beautiful bamboo hut: Casa Infinito, a bamboo structure where we are making the walls in an artisanal and natural way with earth and recycled bottles. We are also doing muralism and high reliefs on the walls.
  
  We are also working with bamboo to finish the Casita Tortuga. A structure that seeks to imitate the forms of nature or biomimicry when it comes to architecture.
  
  We are not 100% vegetarian, but in general we don't eat meat here. The preparation of the food is done by the people who are in the project. We have an organisation for that.
  
  We are not a hostel and we don't generate economic resources. Only when we do bio-construction workshops. This resource is constantly reinvested in the progress of the project.
  
  We carry out activities during the day.
  
  For accommodation we have a shared room for volunteers where there is a double bed, but some people also bring their own tents or tents for camping. If you don't have a tent and the room is not available, we can lend you a tent.
  
  
  We ask for willingness for the activities of bio-construction and gardening that we carry out during the day. Each person comes as a volunteer and we hope to have a good relationship of cooperation and understanding with the volunteers.
  
  The minimum time to participate in the project is 7 days.
  
  In the free time the volunteers can walk through the countryside, go to a nearby lake, visit Popayán which is a very nice and small city. Reading. Some days in the evenings we watch films with the volunteers, and you can also get to know the nearby farming projects.

  Somos un proyecto de bioconstrucción en zona rural donde se comparten saberes y se desarrollan capacitaciones o talleres para crear espacios sustentables y más armónicos con la comunidad y naturaleza que nos rodea.
  
  Llevamos hace 3 años en la hermosa Popayán, ciudad capital del departamento del Cauca, Colombia.
  
  Entendemos la bioconstrución como algo comunitario y de encuentro de personas diferentes en proyectos comunes. Por lo tanto, hemos estado desarrollando con amigos procesos pedagógicos o talleres (workshops) para que el conocimiento de estas prácticas de construcción natural y permacultura se expandan y compartir con más seres haciendo comunidad.
  
  Actualmente estamos realizando actividades de bioconstrucción con voluntarios-aprendices para terminar una linda cabaña en bambú: la Casa Infinito.
  Es una estructura en bamboo donde estamos haciendo las paredes de forma artesanal y natural con tierra y botellas recicladas. De igual forma, estamos haciendo muralismo y altos relieves en sus paredes.
  
  También, estamos trabajando con bambú para terminar la Casita Tortuga. Una estructura que busca imitar las formas de la naturaleza o biomímesis a la hora de hacer arquitectura.
  
  No somos vegetarianos cien por ciento, pero por lo general acá no comemos carne. La preparación de los alimentos la hacemos entre las personas que estén en el proyecto. Tenemos una organización para ello.
  
  No somos un hostal ni generamos recursos económicos. Sólo cuando realizamos talleres de bioconstrución. Recurso que se vuelve a invertir constantemente en el avance del proyecto.
  
  Realizamos actividades en el día.
  
  Para el hospedaje tenemos una habitación compartida para voluntarios donde hay una cama de dos pisos.
  También, hay personas que traen sus carpas o tiendas de campaña para acampar. Si en caso dado no tienen carpa y la habitación no está disponible le podemos prestar una
  carpa.
  
  
  Se pide buena disposición para las actividades de bioconstrucción y huerta que realizamos en el día. Cada persona viene de manera voluntaria y esperamos tener una linda relación de colaboración y entendimiento con los voluntarios.
  
  Lo mínimo de tiempo para participar en el proyecto es 7 días.
  
  En el tiempo libre los voluntarios pueden recorrer por los paisajes en el campo, ir a un lago cercano, visitar Popayán que es una ciudad muy linda y pequeña. Leer. Algunos días en la noche vemos películas con los voluntarios.
  También pueden conocer proyectos campesinos cerca.

  Hébergement

  There is a small room with a double-decker bed for volunteers. Also, a camping area. Tents or sleeping mats are provided. We use ecological bathroom.
  
  Hay una habitación compartida con cama de dos pisos para voluntarios. También, una zona de camping.
  Se prestan carpas o colchonetas para dormir. Utilizamos baño ecológico.

  In free time they can explore the landscapes in the countryside, go to a nearby lake, visit Popayán, which is a very nice and small city. Reading and watching some movies in the evenings. They can also find out about peasant projects nearby.
