Description
We moved to St Michel in Gers Dec 2020, the house we bought had been empty for over 4 years , the fields and woodland is very overgrown, we moved here for lots of land for our horses which we breed and a quiet rural way life. If you are comfortable using farm machinery and motorised gardening tools that would be a bonus. Also if you have any mechanical knowledge, there are always viechles and tools that need a service. First availability September 2024. We would prefer couples as we can leave you to your work autonomously and we can get on with the running of the farm and our businesses.

From September 2024 we are looking for workawayers to help on the farm. Tasks will include, viechle maintenance, garden and general maintenance tasks.
We would like our volunteers to have skills in at least on of these areas.

We are from the U.K. so fluent in English, we have been in France since Dec 2020 and are learning the language so anyone fluent in French but wanting to learn English would be great
Hébergement
We have a self contained 1 bedroom gite guests have their own bathroom, kitchen and garden
Workaways will have their own kitchen and a BBQ if they want to have some time to themselves or they will be welcome to join us for a meal in an evening, we have chickens and an orchard so free eggs and fruit always available
We will provide food and soft drinks in the gite for workers so they can make their own breakfast and lunch and we offer workers the opportunity to join us for an evening meal.
