Description
Our family has been living in Portugal for many years.
We have a big family and there is always a lot of coming and going.
We have two small ponies two dogs and a cat.
The work we offer is varied . There is a large vegetable garden and poly tunnel. Extensive gardens and orchards to tend and upkeep of several houses. We are self sufficient in energy with solar and water energy.
We are looking for healthy active people who enjoy working in all weathers.
We need people with carpentry skills or mechanical/electrical skills. Landscaping,, creating paths ,steps, bridges, dry stone walls, restoring the waterways , clearing, planting etc.
You have your own room , outside kitchen , bathroom and compost toilet . You cater for yourself and in return you help us 2 hours a day , 7 days a week . You can organise the hours as you like. We prefer couples without children or animals.
It's ideal for people exploring the area , looking into buying land etc.
Minimal stay 3 weeks. -

We have lived in Portugal for over 30 years in various places in a more or less self sufficient way. Lots of knowledge related to that including health.
