Description
We live in Eumundi, a beautiful hinterland town on the Sunshine Coast, just a short drive from Noosa. Our home is set in a private rainforest setting, surrounded by nature, birds, and greenery — it feels very much like a retreat-style escape rather than a typical house. There’s a pool, lots of outdoor space, and a calm, peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and recharge.
The area has so much to offer if you love the outdoors. We’re close to the famous Eumundi Markets, stunning Noosa beaches, rainforest walks, hinterland hikes, swimming holes, and coastal towns. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys nature, fresh air, and a slower, more intentional way of living.
Transport note:
Because we’re in a more private, rainforest location, there isn’t easy access to public transport. We’re happy to help with lifts when we can and support you getting around, but having your own transport (car or campervan) is very welcome and will give you much more freedom to explore the region.
About us
We’re friendly, relaxed, and easy to live with, and we value a peaceful, respectful home. We like keeping the house tidy and running smoothly and are looking for help with general household tasks such as cleaning, lunch boxes, tidying up and day-to-day support.
We enjoy sharing local tips for beaches, hikes, cafés, and hidden spots around the Sunshine Coast, while also respecting everyone’s privacy and downtime. Our aim is for helpers to feel comfortable, welcome, and at home while enjoying this special part of Australia.

We love meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. Helpers are welcome to share their own skills, stories, and traditions — whether it’s cooking, music, languages, crafts, or other creative things. In return, we can offer a fun and hands-on exchange: practice English, learn a bit of Arabic, jam with music, do some painting, or get involved with gardening, pool care, land keeping, and small building or DIY projects.
For us, hosting is a two-way experience — we love learning about other cultures, seeing our home and local area through fresh eyes, and exchanging skills and ideas. It makes life here more interesting, fun, and vibrant for everyone.

We like keeping the house tidy and running smoothly and are looking for help with general household tasks such as light cleaning, tidying, and day-to-day support. We would also love some support with gardening, landscaping and some miscellaneous projects around the property. We value art and creativity and open to explore what skills and gift you can bring to our home.

Hébergement
You’ll have your own private room with en-suite bathroom, plus access to the pool and outdoor areas. The house is comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and we provide meals. It’s a cozy, private base to relax, unwind, and explore the local beaches, hikes, and markets.
