  Description

  We are an Asociacion who takes care of abonded and injured horses, mules and donkeys in need. We take care, cure and resocialising them, so they can join into a peacefull good (rest)Life they may have. Some of them recovering very well and these ones becoming therapypartners in our equinoterapia our asociacion is offering too. Kids, teens and young adults are getting the whole benefit of the cooperation our rehabilitated horses and donkeys give.
  We are offering space for workaway who like to be part of the carecrew for this animals. Your responsibility will be to keep in shape the 25 horseboxes, grooming the horses and donkeys and mules and bringing them in and out. If there is more interest to learn about the horsehandling and riding we can talk about some riding lesson too.
  If you join into our team and your looking responsible after your workpart, we like to take you out on horseback once a week. Our slogan is we help the Equines, so the equines helping us.
  
  Our team is about 7 people, 25 dogs and around 120 horses, mules and donkeys.

  It is possible to go to the beach, or closer citys like Ferrol or A Coruña.
  They are located in Galicia, in the north of Spain and the wild romantic landscape with a pure lifestye is still a secret holidaydestination for many tourists from all over the world.

  Aide

  Fortunatly you are in a healthy physic and mental condicion as ranchwork is bodywork. If you are not 100% fit physicalwise or not used to Ranch/Farmwork better dont ask. Full body action is needed between so many animals. Work need to be done in a certain timeframe, so if you are a slow worker probably it is not for you either. Stablekeeping will be in the morning and grooming and horsing in the afternoon. Once a week a hack out on horseback is posible.

  Hébergement

  We offer a small rustic house, with bedrooms and kitchen, bathroom and salon. Simple but cosy.
  Your room is one of these.
  
  There is a full kitchen available and groceries can be done togehter with us.

  Galicia is influenced of celtic culture. A Coruña, Ferrol are University towns with a l ot of different young people.
  All is reachable by car in less than a hour. Airport a Coruña is 45 min. away. Or the airport of Santiago de Compostela is 1.5h away.
