  Description

  Hey! I run a small hostel, right on the beach by the pier in Mirissa, Sri Lanka. We’ve got a foresty, tropical vibe inside, and a laid-back beach restaurant out front. It’s a social spot – guests are mostly travelers and surfers from all over the world, looking to chill, meet people, and enjoy the ocean.
  
  Right now, I’m working on improving the space and creating a more unique experience – from the way the place looks, to the events we host. I could really use a hand with things like helping around the hostel, bringing good energy to the space, and supporting with small creative or practical tasks.
  
  In return, you’ll get to live just a few steps from the beach, eat some good food, meet cool people, and enjoy the slow life in one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful coastal towns. If you’re positive, reliable, and enjoy being part of a small team – you’re welcome here.

  You’ll be part of a small local team and a social space where travelers from all over come and go. We often hang out together – beach days, shared meals, music nights, or just chatting with guests and making them feel welcome. You’ll experience real Sri Lankan hospitality, try local food, and see how a hostel and restaurant runs behind the scenes.
  
  In return, I love learning about different cultures, hearing your travel stories, and even picking up new skills or ideas from volunteers. It’s a chill but genuine exchange – you’ll feel like part of the family.

  Aide

  I’m mainly looking for help with small day-to-day things around the hostel — like keeping the common areas tidy, and just being friendly and present. A big part of it is creating a good vibe, connecting with travellers, and making guests feel at home.
  
  If you’re someone who loves meeting people and bringing good energy, that goes a long way here. It’s not just about tasks — it’s about being part of the space and helping create a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
  
  If you’re into content creation, photography, or social media, that’s a big bonus too. And sometimes there’ll be help needed with simple DIY stuff, organizing events — nothing too intense.

  Hébergement

  You’ll stay in our AC dorm with bunk beds and a private bathroom. There’s hot water, free WiFi, and we’re located right on the beach, so you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We also provide free breakfast and discounts on food and drinks at the restaurant. It’s a chilled, comfortable setup with everything you need.
  
  No charges for accommodation.
