Description
My husband and I are retired teachers with two grown children. We live in the Matanuska Valley on the edge of Lazy Mountain. I was a Deaf Education Teacher so I know some ASL. I’d say I’m at a rusty conversational level.
We built an addition with help from a workawayer. We have some chickens, a good sized garden and a greenhouse. We have a barn to clean and a manure pile to build up.
This year I want help jacking up and making level a small house here on the property. I am not as strong at 69 as I used to be and I could use help with heavy work.
Also, you should know, we live about 6 miles (about 9.5 km, I think) from town. Bus service is not an option. Together, we can figure out how to get you to where you might like to go. If you are comfortable with riding with strangers, we have friends, and someone is always going somewhere. We will get you where you want to go.
If you like hiking, then this is a great place! There is also an active mountain biking community here with many off road trails. The fishing is excellent here.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Visitors will become encultured in Alaskana and a rural lifestyle. There's plenty of hiking, visiting, and summer light!

Visiting Alaska is allowing yourself to rely on others to provide entertainment, travel and letting yourself join the world of positive people. You will get to where you want to go, provided you communicate where that is.Aide
This summer, the small house on the property needs fixing up.
