  Description

  Hello! we are a family of two, Jeannette and Francesco, between 50 and 65. We live in a little Farm with our cat Brunello. We live in a rural area, called Maremma, 150 km south of Florence, very reach of agriculture and little medieval villages. The nearest village is less than 2 km from the farm. The house is located down a private and quiet ‘no through road’ in one of the most picturesque unspoilt locations in Maremma.
  We love everything that you can do outdoor. My husband still works in Rome and I'm a busy with the farm and with guests during the spring summer season, because we rent a special tent.
  
  We are very talkative people, we like humour and we are open mind. We live simply and genuine, out of the cities routine. During the week I'm often alone, Francesco come usually at the weekend.
  We have another house in the Sabina hills, a region in the countryside of Rome.
  
  Our place always need maintenance works as plastering, painting, gardening, etc-- Do you think you are the right person?
  
  We also need to improve our English and we decided to start the experience with workawayers. We have a lot of idea, we are very creative and we are looking for someone that help us to realise our projects.
  
  We are looking for someone (may consider a couple) speaking English to improve our English skills and with experience as gardening. Especially able to use trimmer, and strong.
  
  Workawayers should help five days a week (sometimes week-end included) at least 4 hours a day, gardening, painting, renovating and helping with the houseworks.
  
  There is a comfortable living accommodation for you. We provide a house in the small village Montorgiali with your own kitchen and facilities. We treat all workawayers like members of our family and they are welcome to join in within we are doing. It means, we will eat and cooking together.
  We always try to take them on trips in the local area and introduce them to our friends.
  
  We will welcome genuine and active people. Ideally we would like girl/boy or a couple who would like to stay for 10/15 days, assuming that we all get on. Compatibility is all important to us as is communication and to know that we will all get on well together.
  
  We are two orderly people, our home is well maintained, we love people that take care to the house as well as we do, we expect the same for the provided rooms and spaces.
  For the rest, we are not fiscal. It could happen that some days you are free and others we need help more than 4 hours. It depends on the weather and on the task. We always try to find the better solution in which both are satisfied.
  If you are smoker remember you may smoke only in the outside area.
  
  We eat everything, meat not every day, our is Mediterranean diet. We love cooking and share each other dishes. We will share lunch and sometimes dinner. You will have a small kitchen for you, where you can have breakfast and storage your grocery.
  
  A can do attitude and a sense of humour works well in our family.

  We give the opportunity our host to learn about Italian culture, if you feel like, to learn Italian cooking, to feel you a part of our family and you are welcome to join in within we are doing.

  Aide

  The most important thing is English practice. Our English skill is modest, we need speak for improve the language. We would like talkative outgoing person to laugh and chat with at the dinner table.
  Regarding the help we need, it concern general maintenance of the house. Volunteers should help five days a week (weekend included) at least 4 hours a day, gardening (using machinery), painting, renovation, cleaning and some woodwork.
  It could happen that some days you are free and others we need help more than 4 hours. It depends on the weather and on the project. We always try to find the better solution in which both are satisfied.

  Hébergement

  We don't have a room on place, there is an accommodation for you not far from our farm, with your own kitchen and facilities. To reach our farm, You can walk around 10 minutes or use our e-bike or we can pick up you with the car.
  We eat everything, meat not every day, our is Mediterranean diet. We love cooking and share each other dishes. We will share lunch and often dinner too, unless I’m not at home. You will have a small kitchen for you, where you can have breakfast and storage your grocery. If you have some special needs, let us know when you write please.
  We are two orderly and clean people, our home is well maintained, we love people that take care to the house as well as we do, we expect the same for the provided rooms and spaces.
  We kindly ask to the volunteers the respect of environment. Please avoid wasting electricity and water at every time.

  Autres infos...

  There is beautiful walk roads with no traffic around the farm. Scansano, 15 km far away, is the biggest village, we go often, you can come with us by car. In the village you may find everything you need. There are some buses for reaching the Station.The main train station is in Grosseto, the city is 30 minutes by car far away.
