  Description

  Hello, I take care of a charming rural house with a magnificent garden near Terrasini, Sicily. The name of the countryside is Lo Zucco, a place special to me where all my childhood memories took place. I lived off the island and recently I decided to came back home in Sicily. I am looking for someone interested in gardening and small crafts that want to give a hand to my parents, Monica and Paolo, and me maintaining the garden.

  I love to learn new things and I appreciate exchanging ideas and suggestions related to gardening projects. We can sometimes have dinner together (and bake home maked pizza!) and I will happily recommend wonderful places to explores nearby.

  Aide

  The main tasks will include:
  🌾 keeping the garden free of overgrown vegetation and weeds to prevent fire hazards
  🍊Pruning citrus trees
  🌷Planting new plants and taking care of their growth
  🪷Restoring areas of the garden that have been neglected over time
  
  I will show you how to carry out all of these tasks, so previous experience in agriculture or gardening is valuable (but not necessary). What matters most is having a willingness to help, learn, and get involved

  Hébergement

  Workawayers will stay in a shared room in a private house, with bathroom and kitchen, inside the property. I will provide a weekly pocket money for food that you can cook in your own kitchen. I strongly suggest you to rent a car at the beginning of you stay, if this is not a suitable option for you I can provide electric bikes to reach the nearest town, Terrasini, with a 20 minutes bike ride to get whatever you fancy.
  From Terrasini a bus brings to Palermo in around half an hour.
  We can also arrange to have your campervan inside the property (just let me know what you would need)

  Autres infos...

  In your free time you can relax in the garden, visit the nearby beaches or villages, have a hike on the mountain near to the property or have a day trip to Palermo.
  If you don’t have a private car (which you can rent at your arrival), I can provide you with electric bikes to reach the town of Terrasini, from where you can catch a bus to Palermo. It is fundamental that you will be able to move in autonomy since the nearest town (Terrasini) is 5km away.
