Description
We are a couple in ours sixties, we decided 2 years ago to live in the countryside , in the hyblean mountains , surrounded by nature , near the sea .we need volonteers to help us in our Daily work,abble to stay alone in the property when we need to move away for some days ..the help we need could be inside or outside. Gardening but also cleaning and cooking and fixing the comune spaces. Be active in the community life.
we have 6 hectares of land and a lot of maintenance work.
Of course , we have a vegetable garden, an orchard and many trees to plant.
With the local community we are involved in firefighting to protect the land around, folk dances and social lunches.
We also play music and love to be with friends in front of a moonlit fire.
we try to be creative and aesthetic in everything we do .
I am a painter on silk , and my husband is artist, musicien and works in the archeologic museum of Siracusa.
Between July and August we look at a couple or a single, being indipendente when we will be away..the work will be just watering the trees and green garden ...we can be there ..but we also leave alone the volonteers to custody the farm ...

Volunteers live with us therefore they follow us in our daily lives and this is a great way to learn about an other culture,speak in a new language, make friends.
we alternate work with hiking in beautiful places, playing music,and dancing folk.
we love to cook pasta especially.
In short, for us , welcoming volunteers is a pleasure and a unique intergenerational and cultural experience .

we need help with the vegetable garden, taking care of the orchard, helping on decorating the house by building or repairing furniture

we are 5 km from the nearest town. there is a beautiful beach at 5 km away.
the hyblean mountains are rich in canyons with rivers and archaeological sites.
Syracuse, Noto are baroque jewels ,just at 15 km .
Better to have a car to be more indipendente for your free time
