We are in Ålesund, a creative innovation studio working on second-order change within both behaviour at bigger scale and local, community-driven actions. Our main work includes strategy and communication projects (including film, design, 3D visualisation, webdesign), but we also initiate a lot of social projects.
Since 2019 we are running one of the west coast biggest maritime clean up projects. Here we each year organise around 25 clean up actions, gathering in total around 600 people eeach year.
This year we are also building a mulitfunctional skate ramp made out of recycled materials from ship industry.
We also work with a lot of international projects like the UN "United for smart sustainable city" programme and the Californian based Cool Blocks that aims to create 300 carbon neutral cities within 2030.
In general we are a bunch of young, very ambitoious people that love to work hard and to use our creative communication skills in changing our local city and potential also society on a bigger scale. We dumpster dive each week, and all the food we eat the studio is from the trashes. Each day we eat warm lunsh together, we do a lot of social stuff (like surfing, climbing, hiking, partying, play music, meditate, etc). All are around 20-28 years old. And we drive a Tesla as a company car :P

The team that already works here are super active people, and we would love to take you with us either rock climbing, skiing, hiking and surfing. Yeah, you can find all of that in the city of Ålesund where the project studio is situated. Also you would naturally be learning the ways of Norwegians and how the way of life is here. This including food and other typical "cultural" aspects. Everyday all of the team share a warm lunch together at 13.00, and very often during the week we prepare dinner as well.
See description above, depends which kind of stay.

In addition to the studio space which is located at the ground floor, we are also renting the space on the second floor. The whole floor consists of a big apartment (100kvm). Where there is already one from the studio team living, and the two other bedrooms are reserved for volunteers. The apartment was renovated in 2020 and has a big living room, a kitchen and bathroom which are made up to Norwegian standards. With its own washer, dry-tumbler, dishwasher, juicer etc etc. The apartment is in the middle of the heart of Ålesund and even has a roof-top where the team often enjoy evening beers and relax.
In addition to accommodation we will provide you with all meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The studio also has an electrical car which we let all employees and volunteers use if needed, so if you want to you can drive and explore the region either together with us or alone. This region hosts Norways most scenic nature and spots such as; trollstien, geiranger, sunnmørsalpene which we very often drive to for filming or just for fun. You. can also surf at Alnes, climb at Valderøya, hike the hundreds of mountain peaks in the area such as Molladalen or enjoy evening walks through the forests.
